IMPORTANT NOTICE:

1. We DO NOT HAVE A 24-HOUR reception. Last and latest check-in time at the hostel is 10 pm, and the hostel and reception is closed after this time. Reservations are only honoured till 11 pm; and late arrivals after this time will not be admitted; they will be considered NO-SHOWS and cancellation charges apply, and we reserve the right to release the room to walk-in demands. The hostel shall not be liable in any way for late arrivals or inability to check-in after 10 pm. Please allow for possible delays before making your booking. Estimated travel time from airport to hostel is 1 hour.

2. Check-in time starts from 2 pm - you can only arrive after 10 am when the reception is open to deposit your luggage - early occupancy of room is strictly subject to availability. We regret that we are unable to accept requests for check-ins between 10 pm and 10 am.

3. Minimum age requirement is 18 and all must be FOREIGN PASSPORT HOLDERS - NO SINGAPORE CITIZENS/PR or CHILDREN ALLOWED.

4. The single, twin/double, triple and quad private rooms are strictly for 1, 2, 3 and 4 persons' occupancy per room respectively - extra person will be charged accordingly.

5. Balance of amount due shall be settled in full upon check-in by cash payment, and is not conditional upon viewing of rooms.

6. To avoid penalty of one night room charges, cancellation must be received by us in writing through email at bugisbackpackers@gmail.com, at least 48 hours prior to date of arrival, by latest 00:00 (24-hour format) Singapore Time. An email acknowledgement will be sent to you should your email reaches us before this deadline.
Example: Email us by latest 00:00 (24-hour format) Singapore Time on 27 Oct for cancelling reservation on 29 Oct, regardless of estimated check-in time given.

7. Maximum stay of 7 nights. Back-to-back extension, whether booked through the same guest or another name, is not be accepted and the reservation will not be considered valid by us.



FROM CHANGI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
- Take the MRT to Tanah Merah Station and transfer to the East West Line heading towards Boon Lay Station, a matter of hopping to the opposite platform with no long trek to endure.
- Alight at Bugis MRT Station (EW12). Locate Exit 'A' and turn right at the end of escalator, and walk towards the traffic lights on Rochor Road which is directly opposite KFC and Bugis Village.
- Cross the road at the traffic lights on Rochor Road - the hostel is just 2 shops away from KFC, beside 'Sin Tat Toys', on the third level.

FROM SINGAPORE TANJONG PAGAR RAILWAY STATION
- Take SBS Bus No. 80 and alight at 'Opp Bugis Junction' bus stop on Victoria Street.

FROM QUEEN STREET (or BAN SAN) BUS TERMINAL (Johor Bahru, Kuala Lumpur, Melaka buses)
- Walk along Queen Street towards Rochor Road - when you see McDonald's, you are within Bugis Village.

FROM LAVENDER STREET BUS TERMINAL (Melaka, Mersing, Kuala Lumpur buses)
- Take SBS Bus No. 133 from 'Hock Seng Building' bus- stop on Lavender Street.
- Alight at 'Bugis Junction' bus-stop on Victoria Street.

FROM GOLDEN MILE COMPLEX (Malaysia & Thailand buses)
- Take SMRT Bus No. 980 in front of 'Sultan Plaza' bus stop on Jalan Sultan.
- Alight 'Opp Bugis Junction' bus stop on Victoria Street.

FROM SINGAPORE CRUISE CENTRE (Pulau Batam, Indonesia ferries)
- Take MRT from HarbourFront Station and transfer at Outram Park Station for the East-West train heading towards Changi Airport.
- Get off at Bugis MRT Station. Follow as per directions from Changi International Airport

PS:
Those intending to take a taxi to the hostel should ensure that detailed directions are given to the driver (don't expect him to know the exact location). Taxi fare should cost about S$20 including the relevant midnight and airport surcharge.

My best advice to you is to avoid arriving after 11 pm, so that you could still catch the MRT to the hostel. MRT fare costs around S$2.60 (including S$1 refundable ticket deposit).
