About us
Established on 1 October 2013 to provide affordable accommodation and good memories to people travelling along the Garden Route in South Africa.

Backpacker Beach Hostel is right on the beach at Victoria Bay. This is one of the smallest, most hidden beautiful bays on the Garden Route and is located between George and Wilderness.

Beach Break family room – double bed, 2 bunk beds, shared bathroom.
Tubes dorm – sleeps 8 in bunk beds, en-suite bathroom.

Breakfast and dinners can be arranged on request.

Surroundings
Victoria Bay, renowned for its beach and surfing, is a cove enclosed by cliffs and comprises of a number of cottages clustered around the water front. The gently-sloping beach makes swimming safe and big waves from far out give surfers a long ride. This bay is one of the top 10 surf spots in South Africa and very popular amongst surfers worldwide.

The bay also offers visitors the chance to spend some time fishing off the pier or wading in the tidal pool.
