Avendo girato diversi ostelli, avendo visitato Istanbul in periodo meno turistico (fine novembre),
Non l'ho trovato ne caotico e nemmeno sporco da fare schifo. Le docce erano pulite a tutte le ore, così come i bagni. Tutto perfetto, nonostante sia alla buona! Unica pecca, le camere hanno una sola chiave che viene condivisa da tutti e applicata su un aggegio che tiene aperta la porta. In poche parole, l'ultimo chiude la stanza/molla le chiavi in reseption. Lo consiglio comunque.

Лучшее место во всем "эконом туристическом жилом районе" Стамбула. Достаточно посмотреть на количество людей за столиками. Турист, он такой - там где плохо, не сядет отдыхать. Вечером мест свободных еще поискать надо. А у других в лучшем случае 50% занято. А еще радуют цены и !!! ДАЖЕ скидка будет на напитки. ЕЗЖАЙТЕ обязательно туда

Good Situation and fair price. Stuff is also helpful and friendly. But bathroom is very small. Only two showers and two toilets and only one(!) sink/washbasin for 20 people! Thats far too little. The Rooms itself were okay - tiny, but could be more spacious. Wi-Fi was not accesable in the rooms, since too far away from router.

This is a well located hostel, with a nice breakfast (bread, olives, tomatoes, cucumber, cereal, milk, juice...no cheese or ham).
They also have a computer room with 3 computers which you can use for free..
The 10 people room in the night was not so good, mainly because it was either really hot or really cold. There was an air conditioner which turned itself on and off...we don't know if it was just a matter of regulating it, but this was not so nice. .
Anyway, nice hostel, would come back...

The Sultan Hostel is in a great location and very clean, both in the living areas and in the bathrooms. The bar service is great and a good breakfast is served. Security is provided in the form of locked lockers for valuable personal items. Yes, I would stay here again.

La ubicación inmejorable, limpio, divertido, hospitalario .... la calle en la que se encuentra ( un verdadero rosario de pequeños restaurantes y/o pubs) tiene más marcha que otras arterias turísticas de Estambul, el hostal tiene un restaurante que por la noche funciona como pub, con un ambiente excelente y nada caro.
El hostal lo lleva un matrimonio jóven, muy simpáticos y se esfuerzan realmente para ayudar al huésped en lo que necesite, ella habla español, que para los que hablamos mal el inglés es de gran ayuda.
El desayuno está incluido, un pequeño y variado bufet que si bien no es nada del otro mundo, cumple muy satisfactoriamente su función.
En fin ... un Hostal excelente y recomendable ...

Nice hostel, with good restaurant (day area). Great atmosphere. Staff is nice and helpfull.
Bathrooms and rooms need little renovation, and better ventilation - otherwise mould will appear sooner or later.

everything is perfect - the place, the rooms, the food, the atmosphere! you always meet so many people there - actually there is no better place to stay in istanbul and i would absolutely recommend it to anyone!!!!!! :)

They offer a 10% discount at the restaurant and they don t actualy give it!! It s like 7%. if they offer something that you didn t ask for they should at least do it right!!

It's a good hostel, clean and very well located. The only problem is that I had made a reservation for 5 nights in a bedroom for 6 people, but the first night I had to sleep in a bedroom for 25 people (on a bed that was on the floor) because the hostel was full (so why did I make a reservation for???). Then they sent me to the 6 people bedroom and everything was great. Very clean and the staff was always very helpful.

This hostel was in a fantastic location, so close to all the major attractions and the street outside was very lively with a great nightlife. Not the hostel if you want a quite nights sleep, but great if you are after some excitment and atmosphere.

The Sultan Hostel is situated very close to the main sites and everything is in a walking distance. It may not be the cleanest hostel, but the friendly staff and price make up for this disadvantage. Breakfast is included which is a welcome service.

This was an ideal place to stay, near all the main attractions. As for the room, the combination of the bathroom door doubling as the shower door should have screamed "warning". Next time, I will use the community shower. Other than that, it was good to go.
