First backpackers hostel in Costa Rica. We are independent and locally run, and as such you will get the personal touch not found in big chain hostels. We opened our doors in 2001, and have been the number one meeting spot in the San Jose ever since. A real slice of paradise in the heart of San Jose. Meet travelers from all over the world. We are located in Downtown San Jose near bus terminals and nightlife's activities.

34 rooms. 15 privates rooms, 19 dormitories,

tropical garden, swmming pool, tv room, bar and restaurant, meeting rooms, patios.

We are located in Barrio La California which offers bars (El Lobo, Craic Irish Pub, Bar Bahamas), restaurants (Nuestra Tierra, Tin Jo, Esquina de Buenos Aires, Casa China, La Valicha, Okami Sushi ), banks (Banco Nacional, Banco de Costa Rica) and supermarkets (Mas por menos, ampm). The National Museum and Jade Museum are just around the corner and you can even walk to the city center to Plaza de Cultura from the pedestrian avenida 2
