About us
The hostel has been in operation for over 4 years, previously known as The House Hostel. It has recently been taken over by an Australian guy. He has over 10 years travel experience and is now settled down in Zagreb and offering his hospitality to all travelers that visit The Wallaby. He is assisted by three local Croatian staff who know all about Zagreb and Croatia's main cities and party islands.

Accommodation
The hostel offers 2 mixed dorms with bunk beds, a female dorm with bunk beds and 2 private rooms to choose form; a double and a single. Each floor has a shared bathroom, central heating in the winter time and air-con in the summer. All beds come with linen and a towel.

Services and activities
The hostel has a large common room with a 50' plasma, computer with internet and a fireplace. Depending on which day you arrive you will receive somth9ng for free.

Tuesdays - FREE pancakes all day!
Thursday - FREE breakfast (eggs, toast, ceral, tea & coffee)
Fridays - FREE fries from check in (2pm)
Sunday - We get the fire place going in the evening and pour some wine.

Surroundings
The hostel is the closest one in Zagreb to the bus station. It is 3 tram stops away from the train station and it's close to the tram which will drop you off in to Old Town. There is a supermarket, restaurant and bar within a 150m of the hostel. The hostel is in a quite neighborhood and away from the main road.
