Guangdong Guest House

We was in this place in April and had room for two person. Honesty I can recomend this geust hose. Althow the room was small, It was very clean, nice bathrom, close to everywhere and Simon was so helphul with any questions. I recomend it more then staing in Schenzen and every day have a trip to HK.

Dose not look like much from the outside, but rooms were very, very clean and well attended. Simon, the manager is a super host and ready to answer and respond to your every need. He made the stay very pleasant. I recommend this hostel over others in the same area of good location. I will return when in Hong Kong.

Cleanliness - Generally bathroom us clean but it would be nice if the walls and tiles are scrubbed or cleaned daily. It's stuffy and hot in the hallway when cleaning is ongoing. Simon the staff is very nice and courteous, approachable, we asked to repair the shower hose and he did it immediately. Location in Tsim Sha Tsui is great. Location in 5th floor is ok. Allow 5 to 10 to 15 mins for queueing in the elevator. We will stay again in this Hostel.

Place is clean except air con and fan when put to on is always noisy when u sleep every time , it affect my overall sleep .

Not enough towels to go by , someone day non replacement of towels

No floor mats. Cool surface on the floor

No water flask on the side bed , trouble to go out and obtain water

Don't like the long queue for the life up to the hostel , always the long wait

The hostel was really clean, and Simon was excellent. I had a clean towel everyday and the room was immaculate.

Simon's smile is the only bright spot in the dark, foreboding atmosphere of ChungKing Mansions. His hospitality made me thoroughly enjoy my stay in GuangDong Guesthouse. ChungKing Mansions desperately needs an improvement in its external facade. Its despondence is in stark contrast to the sharp, shiny buildings around it.

Honestly, it's not the most promising place to stay, but Simon made it special. Locationwise, RIGHT WHERE PEOPLE WANTED TO STAY at a very low cost. Just don't mind the people at the ground floor...
