Established in 2018, Cinema Hostel Jerusalem is a new, cinema-themed young hostel located in the very center of Jerusalem. Built inside the legendary Orion Cinema, the hostel creates a unique environment on a backdrop of your favorite classic films.
Perfectly placed for exploring, the Cinema Hostel also offers tours and activities, so you’re always around friends!

Every room is themed on a different movie! You can go wild in “The Mask” dorm, or enjoy a night in a sweet “Gre

Accommodation
Guests have accommodation options from private double rooms to en suite multi-bed dorms (4-bed, 6-bed, 8-bed, 10-bed, and 12-bed dorms), and our different capsule options (soon available - September 2019), each room is themed on a different movie.

Services and activities
The hostel is equipped with a shared kitchen, wide-open terrace and cozy common space, where we screen movies every week, bringing the cinema theater back to life.
The hostel hosts many social activities such as Israeli food night, Jam session, Pub crawl, and Shabbat dinner and Yoga lessons.
The hostel's bar, John Smith, is a 20's style cocktail bar, inspired by the cinema concept as well.
On the terrace of the hostel overlooking the city center, there are also fairs and parties in the spring

Our prime location means you're in the middle of everything!
There are many bars, clubs, and restaurants around, a nearby supermarket and street food.

The old city is only 10 min away and Mahane Yehuda Market is 8 min away from the hostel.

Opened in 2018 within the historic landmark Orion Cinema, the newly renovated Cinema Hostel offers a variety of accommodation options for tourists and travelers alike. The building’s classic Jerusalem stone and impressive dome structure was offset by an interior inspired by the Radio City Music Hall. The decor inside the common areas of the hostel is inspired by cinema and movies and creates a unique atmosphere.
