Surroundings
The plateau of Piné is about 22 km from Trento. It is divided into 2 areas: Baselga di Piné and Bedollo. It is part of two distinct watersheds, the Fersina (Silla rio, rio Negro) and dell'Avisio (rio rio Regnana and Brusago).
Place above 900 m above sea level, the plateau (by some also called the Valley of Piné) is etched from northeast to southwest through mountains of effusive volcanic rocks: they are the furthest reaches to the southwest of the Lagorai.
