The Ca'Mare apartment is located in the Castello area, a few steps away from the historical central point 'Arsenale'. It is a 10-minute walk from the famous Piazza San Marco, and a 15-minute walk from the Rialto Bridge. It is ideally situated in a central yet remarkably quiet district. The Gardens of the Biennale can be reached on foot within less than five minutes from there. 'Arsenale' is the nearest Vaporetto stop, around 200 metres away. 'Arsenale' is a pick-up point for the motorboat service 'Alilaguna ' that connects the international airport 'Marco Polo' to the city of Venice, and a stop for Vaporetto 1 or 41 to and from the railway Station or Piazzale Roma. The islands of Lido, San Giorgio and Giudecca can be reached easily from this stop.
A great variety of restaurants, supermarkets, bars, boutiques and craft shops can be found in the neighbourhood, especially on the well-known Via Garibaldi.
