Hostal Sotopalacio **

This was a very nice hotel, but it WAS NOT IN SEGOVIA! I am rather furious with your company at the moment because I searched for a hostel IN SEGOVIA and this hotel came up in the search and was listed as being IN SEGOVIA. This hotel is in MADRONA, a 20 minute bus ride outside of Segovia! You RUINED my vacation and I'm never using your site again!!!! It cost us so much extra time and money to get to and from Madrona. We had to take taxis since there were only TWO buses leaving from Madrona to Segovia today- an 11am and an 8pm!!!

We booked within 24 hours of our arrival, and when we found out how far away this hotel was from Segovia, we tried to cancel but the staff at the front desk couldn't tell us what we would be charged if we cancelled for the night, and we had already left a deposit for the room, so in order to avoid being charged, we left Segovia for the absolutely DEAD town of Madrona. I am a 26 year old teacher and this was my vacation. I wanted to have fun and go out at night, but there were no night busses from Madrona to Segovia and THERE IS NOTHING TO DO IN MADRONA. It's like a ghost town. How COULD you reccommend this to me?? I am furious.
