About us
The Walker Inn Bed & Breakfast is a beautifully restored 1890’s Eastlake Victorian home in the heart of the quaint village of Bell Buckle, Tennessee, offering a warm and relaxing lodging experience and delicious, home-cooked breakfast. The home as operated on and off as an inn for the past several years, but we officially opened in 2015.

This is a family-run bed and breakfast managed by a mother and her sons, where we enjoy showing all of the interesting travelers that come through this spec

Accommodation
There are four bedrooms in our home, each a little different from the other:
- the Covington Room features a double bed and private bathroom with an antique style tub
- the Webb Room features both a queen bed and twin bed and has a private bathroom with a walk-in shower
- the Peacock Room is our only downstairs bedroom and has a king bed, as well as private bathroom with walk-in shower
- the Elizabeth Room is our top room, with a king bed, twin bed, and spacious private bathroom with shower,

Services and activities
There are several common areas in our historic home, including a lounge, library, dining area, porch, patio and the grounds. A made-to-order breakfast is included with each booking, where we do our best to showcase local produce. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the home. We are able to assist all guests in planning their activities during their stay.

Surroundings
Established in 1852, the village of Bell Buckle was once a bustling trade area between Nashville and Chattanooga. The town experienced immense hardship during the great depression and it wasn't until the 1960's that a renewed interest in the town as an arts&crafts hub enabled its preservation through to current times. Seemingly frozen in time, Bell Buckle is scattered with beautifully restored vintage homes, and the downtown area is a strip of locally owned artisan and antique shops and cafes se

Why should you stay with us
The inn is owned by a family that has done a lot of traveling themselves, and knows how to craft a great experience that showcases our local area, while giving our guests a comfortable, cozy stay and home-cooked Southern-style breakfast. The historic home that we operate out of is sure to impress.

Rural Middle Tennessee is a beautiful area. Travelers coming to this area that are looking for a truly local experience of the area are recommended to stay with us. Being just a short 1 hour drive

 

 

AGB's

We require a 50% deposit to secure your booking, as well as your contact information. The remaining balance, as well as any additional good and/or services purchased, can be paid at check-out via the payment option of your choice. We accept virtually all forms of payment, including PayPal and Venmo.

All quoted rates do not include a 9.75% state and local tax.

Check-in is between 2PM-6PM. Check-out is no later than 11AM. Please notify us in the case that these timeframes cannot be met.

Cancellation Policy
For non-special events, cancellations will be accepted up to a week before the booking date, and a full refund of the deposit will be issued. Any cancellations made within a week of the booking date will void a refund of the deposit.
For special events (see list below), cancellations will be accepted up to one month before the booking date, and a full refund of the deposit will be issued. Any cancellations made within a month of a booking date that is during a special event will void a refund of the deposit.

Reschedule Policy
All reservation changes made within the cancellation period (one week normally, one month for special events) will void any refund the deposit. All reservation changes made outside of our cancellation periods will allow us to give you a full refund, less a $20 administrative fee.

Unclaimed Accommodation
All non-arrivals and no-shows will be subject to a full charge for the room booked with the credit card on file.

Smoking
No smoking inside of the Inn. Guests are able to smoke outside on the patio or porches as long as they are not disturbing other guests.

Damage to Inn Property
We reserve the right to recover costs from any guest in the event of deliberate and intentional damage to Inn property.

Security
The Walker Inn places high priority on the security of guests and their property (we have outdoor security cameras installed). However, all valuables are the full responsibility of the individual guest. Management is not responsible for loss of any money or valuables during guests’ stay at the Inn, or damage or loss of contents to any auto that is parked at the Inn.
