Nous avons relevé juste un détail qui a quelque fois pu altérer notre tranquillité. Il s'agit de la porte d'entrée de notre chambre. Nous l'avons trouvé relativement fine et peu isolante phonétiquement. Par conséquent, tous les sons de couloir ou les ''claquement'' de portes étaient plus que perceptibles!!!
A part cela, nous avons trouvé la pension irréprochable sur son accueil, sur sa propreté et sur son emplacement géographique. Aussi, nous le recommandons à tous ceux qui souhaitent se rendre à Vienne. Merci!

The directions given were not at all helpful to find the pension. Leaving Volkstheatre metro you must walk in the direction of the Rathaus. The sign for the cross street, Lerchenfelderstrasse, is only posted on one side of Museumstrasse, on the other side, it is Schmerlingplatz. Because of this I wandered up and down with all my luggage, only a few blocks from the hotel, but unable to find it. I finally had to take a cab. Very frustrating after 9 hrs on a train through the Czech Republic! The street signs in Vienna are difficult to read anyway because they are in a Gothic Script form. HOWEVER, the room was clean, comfortable and the bed was most comfortable. There is no breakfast incl. but around the corner on Josefstadtstrasse there is the Cordial Theatre Hotel, and they accept non-residents for a luxurious buffet breakfast, for 15 Euros. You will not even think of food until evening comes! There are 3 grocery stores nearby, a pharmacy, and several nice restaurants. You can buy a frozen dinner and heat it in the Lehrerhaus microwave in the breakfast room if you want to save money. Location was great for visiting all the central museums. Having a shower stall in the room was unexpected comfort. Only the toilet is shared. Staff were pleasant. Wifi is strong only on main floor, not in room, but I was able to use Skype in my room several times in spite of this. They let me leave my luggage the whole day I checked out, as I had an afternoon meeting and a night train to catch. I would definitely stay here again in Vienna. Only issue was with the very faulty directions!!!

Wer eine muffige Unterkunft mit alten und quietschenden Betten sucht und dabei auf knurriges Personal nicht verzichten will, der ist hier genau richtig. Die Dusche im Zimmer würde noch gehen, wenn da nicht das 70er Jahre-Gemeinschaftsklo auf dem Flur wäre. Einzig und allein die Lage vom 5 Min. entfernten Rathaus rechtfertigt hier einen Aufenthalt. Dann lieber 20 EUR mehr pro Nacht ausgeben und sich weniger ärgern, aber am Ende ist man ja bekanntlich immer schlauer...

Vielen Dank für Ihren Aufenthalt und Ihre für mich wichtigen Kommentare. Ich habe die Pension Lehrerhaus erst im März 2010 übernommen und seither renoviere ich die Pension Schritt für Schritt. Es tut mir aufrichtig leid, dass es Ihnen bei uns nicht gefallen hat. Wie kann ich das wieder gutmachen? Es würde mich sehr interessieren, um welche Tageszeit Sie damals eingecheckt sind. Albergo semplice, ma pulito ed in posizione centrale. Consigliato, se non si hanno grandi pretese.
