El Arupo Hostel-Medellin was established in July of 2009. It is a beautiful house, built by one of the best architects in Medellin. El Arupo is located in one of the most desirable streets of 'Barrio El Poblado.' There you can find some of the best restaurants in Medellin, at only 5 minutes walking from famous 'Parque Lleras.' It has a perfect atmosphere for relaxing, and making new friends from all over the world, while having a beer in our cosy living room or our beautiful garden.

We have been making a difference with special services to our guests in hostels since 1993 when we opened our first 'Hostal El Arupo,' in Quito-Ecuador. We are now happy to open another in Medellin-Colombia.

LOCATION
Located in the heart of the young vibrant neighborhood “El Poblado”, in what is known as “The Pink Zone” in Medellin, the second largest city in Colombia, South America, EL ARUPO HOSTEL offers the comforts and furnishings of hotels that would cost double or triple the price. The convenience of staying at El Arupo is the accessibility to tons of tourist activities and information. Its just a few minutes walk to travel agencies, banks, restaurants, cyber cafes, bars and discotecs, metro station, Spanish classes, artisan markets, bus stations, parks, post office, hospital, pharmacy and much more.

ROOMS
EL Arupo offers an array of clean and cheerful rooms along with great communal facilities. Seven comfortable rooms with Wi-Fi connection in case you need to work from your room.
Sit back and relax in the communal lounge by watching some international TV or by visiting with other guests. Included in the price is the use of a fully equipped kitchen where a continental breakfast is provided. Feel free to clear your mind and take in some fresh air while wondering through the cozy garden.
