About us
NuevaLife started in 2007 in Gainesville, Florida. It is a nonprofit organization dedicated to help communities living in extreme poverty in Latin America through sustainable projects realted to Water & Energy, Health & Nutrition, Education and Animal Care. Casa NuevaLife in Riohacha started in 2019 when groups of volunteers started to travel to the region to develop projects. Then in 2020 we opened the house to tourists interested in social work. Accommodation
The house has 5 available rooms, 3 full bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining room and a patio to be shared with all guests.

All rooms are Air Conditioned.

Room 1 - 3 bunk beds (6 beds) with a full bathroom
Room 2 - 2 bunk beds (4 beds)
Room 3 - 2 bunk beds (4 beds)
Room 4 - 2 bunk beds (4 beds)
Room 5 - 2 bunk beds (4 beds)
Garage - there is a garage that is used as a storage.

Services and activities
The social area has 2 big tables where people can eat, play games, the is a white board for meeting planning, a smart TV.
The kitchen is open and next to the dining room - this kitchen is to be used for all guests.
There is a patio in the back.
There is internet access 24/7
Laundry services are available
As we are a nonprofit and work with rancherias (communities), guests are welcomed to visit the projects that we have going on and are more than welcome to help and be part of them.

Surroundings
The house is 5 minutes away from the airport, walking distance from super markets, convenience stores and museums. Only 15-20 minute walk to the beach and 'La Primera' which the main road here more artists sell their artcrafts.
