Kosala is derived from Sanskrit “Upaya Kausalya” which is considered an attribute of a bodhisattva, or enlightened being who assists others in achieving enlightenment as well. A

The raw-architectural Indonesian style home has only 6 beds which makes it a perfect place to meet as one family and make new life-long friends.

Our cozy dormitory is made for backpackers who want to meet people from all over the world. We offer tranquility and serenity, the sound of crickets at night which will bring back the childhood memories of endless summer nights.

Kosala is your home and we try our best to give you authentic experience.

Kosala Jogja is located in the south part of Yogyakarta with so much more relaxed vibe, almost like you are in the country side but only 15 minutes away from the city center. We offer you the sensation of living with nature in the beautiful village. Our village Kasongan is famous for the masterful pottery craftsmen, you will also find anything from leather, batik, weaving, and furniture workshops. Our place gives you freedom which is unique and memorable.

Kosala is the place for those who are looking for quietness and calm, the place for doing meditation and yoga, and the place to create memories during your journey.
