Life begins at the end of your comfort zone, but we are here to make you comfortable outside your comfort zone!
With the backpackers’ and adventurers’ needs in mind, we have created the base for all of those who wish to discover the Judean desert and the Dead Sea.
With plenty of hiking trails just outside the door, relaxed atmosphere, cold beer in the fridge and much more, we want to make sure you are ready to head out into the desert wilderness.

THE ADVENTURE DORM:
This 6-bed dorm with window view of the front garden, very quiet, AC, privacy and shared bathroom with tub.
THE SALT CAVE DORM
Our quiet female 6 bed-dorm with a view to the garden and AC, shared facilities.
THE SUNRISE/DESERT VIEW DORM
This is our most enlightened dorm with 8 beds and the sun hitting the windows from sunrise to sunset in an East/West exposure. Enjoy the fantastic view of the sun rising above the Judean desert hills everyday of your stay.

Guests can use a fully equipped common kitchen, and the computer room. Coffee & Tea making facilities are also available
There is a chill out no smoking garden with hammocks available and a herbs garden as well
Freebies consists of wifi, tea and coffee, desert style breakfast, maps

Other amenities and services available are laundry service, outdoor gear rental, bike rental, luggage storage, free parking.

The hostel is located Southern of the city of Arad, just on the corner of the road to Masada, in the middle of the desert.
This area is full of beautiful hiking trails, running and cycling paths, breathtaking canyons and mountains, and it’s the most accessible place to reach the Dead Sea and Masada by public transport or by car.
In Arad, you will find restaurants, pubs, markets, grocery stores, an artist quarter, a winery and brewery and public transport to all major cities.
