The medieval village of Bard is one of the most beautiful and preserved of the Val d'Aosta Region. On the top of the fortress is the renewed Fort of Bard: today, the fortress compound offers to visitors a very important museology project dedicated to the spread of culture. 'Alps Museum' and 'The Children's Alps' invite everyone expecially youngs people to a virtual tour into the Alps'world. Bard is the ideal place to discover Val d'Aosta beauty: Aosta city with its important roman history, Issogne and Fenis's Castles and all the famous skiing villages like Pila and Courmayeur. Bard lies also to the entrance to the Gran Paradiso National Park one of the most ancient national park where you can have beautiful mountain trekking in nature.
