About us
This Backpacker was established in November 2014 and consists of 5 apartments and is ‘backpacking’ with a difference, situated right where you want to be! A 100m stroll takes you to the shops, restaurants and pubs of Plettenberg Bay’s Main Street. Walking distance to Central Beach.

For the ‘private’ traveller or those who want some ‘me’ time, our double apartments are just what you need. For those who do not mind sharing we have 2 dorm style apartments fitted with bunk beds.

Accommodation:
Apartment 1: 2 bedrooms that each sleeps 4 guests in bunk beds, veranda, braai (BBQ).
Apartment 2: Double bed.
Apartment 3: Double bed, single bed, veranda.
Apartment 4: Sleeps 8 in bunk beds.
Apartment 5: Double bed, 2 bunk beds (sleeps 4 in total).


Services and activities
Each apartment is independent with satellite TV. Should you wish to socialise, our sister backpacker, Amakaya Backpackers is a 200m stroll away. Here you can make use of our bar and indoor braai (BBQ) facilities if you wish.

Main Street with its restaurants and pubs are 100m away.

A short 100m stroll takes you to Main street where there are a variety of restaurants and pubs.

Why should you stay with us
Our apartments give you the option of some alone time should you wish without the normal hustle and bustle of a busy backpacker. If you want some people interaction, this can be had at the bar at our sister backpacker, Amakaya Backpackers which is a short 200m away or you could stroll on down to Main Street.
