About us
Lost in Africa Arusha is the perfect place to set up base while in Arusha. Enjoy a quiet & relaxing Poshtel (posh/Luxury hostel) vibe 5 km (10 min Drive) from the busy city Centre yet very close to public transportation and at a quiet yet local neighborhood at an amazing price. 15 out of our 16 rooms are self-contained and ready for you, those on a tighter budget our tents are available (bring your own & pay less).

we have a 15 rooms and are divided into both private and shared rooms as below

Private rooms.
- Double rooms with Private bathrooms (3 rooms 1 queen bed each)
- Twin Rooms with private bathrooms (5 rooms 2 single beds each)
- Triple rooms with Private bathrooms (3 rooms 1 bunk & 1 single bed each)
- Quad rooms with Private bathrooms

Shared rooms.
- 4 bed room derm with Private bathroom (1 room 2 bunk beds)
- 4 bed female dorm with Private bathroom (1 room 2 bunks beds)
- 8 bed Dorm

The common areas are Restaurant, the Bar, the Lounge the gardens and firepit area the patio and Parking area.

We organize safaris to parks such as the Serengeti and Tarangire as well as mountain treks cultural trips, day excursions

Surroundings
Lush surroundings with a view of the tallest mountain in Arusha Mount Meru if its a clear sky. A very safe and quiet neighborhood except for occasional noises from our local school nearby which we love very much
