Great stay with very helpful staff!

I like staying here as it's very close to the airport and is good for staying overnight. The staff are very friendly and having an expensive airport transfer is great.

A bare basics motel. Clean, passable food, slow wi fi. Very well located at the airport.

Too expensive price.

Location is good, but hotel is really basic. Walls are not soundproof. Bathroom never had hot water.

Excellent place for an overnight stay. Clean rooms with good aircon.Efficient,freindly staff serving good food and cold beer.

For the price, this hotel can't be beat -- onsite restaurant (affordable and tasty), friendly staff and shuttle service to/from airport and Zanzibar ferry! I would stay here again. Oh and there's friendly stray cats outside your window you can give your leftover fish to!

A clean, safe hotel with a good restaurant and shuttle service to the nearby Dar Airport....excellent for economical one night accommodations before flying.

The room was clean and ready. The taxi arrangements were fine. Paying was easy and staff were friendly. The room had a toilet which was constantly filling up though and it was quite noisy at night.

Stayed here with my family whilst waiting for a 6 hr connection overnight at DAR. The hostel is extremely close to the airport - a matter of minutes - and the taxi arranged by the hostel was there to meet us. The rooms are clean and functional. The breakfast fine and overall value very good given proximity to DAR. As a stop over waiting for flights it is ideal.

Credit Card machine was not working. Terrible for a transit hotel. I have to come back but I don't know if I choice it again in cause of this problem.

Apart from the ridiculous cost of a taxi to and from this place it was ideal for staying the night between flights.

when we arrived they had given our room away. We had to wait 40 minutes whilst they sorted us another room which wasn't ideal after a 14 hour trip! Our room wasn't clean and the mosquito net was ripped.

This was reasonably comfortable. The shower and bathroom was adequate. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

bumpy road to get there but that did not bother me. I was impressed. The breakfast food was very good!

Pros: The correspondence with staff via email was very professional and friendly. Staff at the front desk are also very friendly. The room is nice enough and clean. The wireless internet is surprisingly fast. It's convenient to have a restaurant and bar attached. It's very close to the airport.

Cons: The restaurant is very slow, and really over-priced for what it is. I ordered roasted chicken and it took an hour and half- when it finally came, it was all neck pieces with mostly bones and very little meat. For TSH 15,000 I expected more. Breakfast looked like it would be good, but all the hot food was left in a pan with no heating element, and it was all cold and pretty unappetizing by the time I went to eat at 8am. I will only stay here in the future if I really need a single night in a hotel very near the airport. And I will try to bring some snacks with me...

The Transit Hotel was a real value. Great staff, good food, very clean. We will definitely stay there again if we need to transit in Dar es Salaam.

Plus points : close to airport; good taxi service organized by the motel.

Negative points: Much too hot in the room, so that it was difficult to sleep; some noice very early in the morning; breakfast was rather poor; small room.

I would only recommend this motel close to the airport for one night, if your flight is either arriving late in the evening, or if you are leaving very early in the morning.

Great location near airport. Place was clean and everything worked. Restaurant food was good, but took a while to come. Reception staff not very welcoming

Unfriendly reception lady, 1.5 hours wait for our food order in restaurant and after being informed that breakfast starts at 6am, when we arrived for breakfast at 6 we were then told nothing would be ready till 7am. Not good enough for an airport transit hotel where passengers have to leave in the early hours.

However, room was clean with large comfortable beds and good en suite.

There's no question that if you want a place convenient to the airport, without dealing with Dar's horrible traffic, this is the place to be. Staff is not very helpful, and squeezed the three of us into one room, instead of giving us two rooms as requested, but charged us the same rate as two rooms. I will stay again, when I'm in a hurry, but any longer layover will benefit from a more amenable hotel staff.

Everything was superb. All the staff members were so friendly and helpful. I had a great time. I highly recommend it.

Just the pervect Place for staying overnight if you arrive late in the evening. The location, across the street to the Airport could not be better. Highly recommended.

Our stay was great. Because we came in at night, the desk person couldn't really understand our needs. She was very friendly, just not fluent in English and being an overnight person, I didn't really expect her to be. Our driver to and from the airport was personable and on time. I will recommend this place to others traveling to Iringa.

Nothing fancy but nice and very close to airport

clean and comfortable hotel with basic restaurant at a fair price within 1km of the airport. Ideal for use as a 'transfer' hotel on arrival into the country should you be travelling on the following day.

Very close to airport good for late flights , but hard to have hot water , pick up is 5 us is expensive less than 1 km from the airport , from city taxi is 14 us for 14 km . wifi is working very simple .

Unfortunately our bathroom had a leaking tap so the floor was constantly covered with water. Also the toilet was positioned at the door so you had to squeeze past to get to the shower. It was close to airport which we required but would try the FQ hotel if we needed a room next time.

Despite having my reservation information and deposit, I arrived and the hotel did not have a room for me. I ended up being referred to a nearby hotel instead. This was at 1:00am after an international flight, and after submitting a note requesting late check-in.

Excellent choice if you need a place close to the airport. Very efficient pick up service from and back to the airport. The room was simple and clean.

Hotel for one night only. Very loud from the street and bars, which are very close. Very close at the airport. Extra chargé if you reserve by website with credit card.

Simple hotel, very near from the Dar Es Salam airport. Very kind staff and perfectly organized transit with hotel taxi from/to airport. Recommended for transits.

good place to stay for one night near the airport

The aircon had no remote, it was extremely noisy from the street.....could not sleep. Also breakfast variety is pity full.

Vicinity to the international Airport is the reason for value and recommendation. Online booking only possible for 2-bed-room, single-bed- room and dayroom was not possible.
