HI-Whistler

Description

HI Whistler is the next generation of hosteling. This custom built hostel was opened July, 2010 after being used as accommodation for athletes during the 2010 Winter Olympic games. We’re located in a safe, modern neighborhood with the WAVE transit system stoping just a few meters from the hostel and running regular services from early morning until 3am to take you into the village for Whistler Blackcomb, shopping, nightclubbing and more.
Our comfy shared rooms have a maximum of 4 guests and have lockers that you can securely lock up your laptop while it’s charging. Our private rooms may make your think that you've just checked into a luxury hotel with flat screen tv’s , queen sized beds and ensuite washrooms and great views of the mountains. Three of our private rooms are fully wheelchair accessible.
Other guest amenities include a modern stainless steel guest kitchen, free gas bbq and a 52' TV in the TV lounge, free pool table, and free wifi throughout the building. If lounging indoors gets old, there are decks to sit out on and enjoy the sun on both the main and the second floor. We have a meeting room with AV equipment, and a huge room dedicated to ski and bike storage. Grab a snack, a meal, a beer, cider or wine from Cheaky's Cafe located in the hostel lobby.
If you want to explore more than just the village, HI Whistler is located on the edge of the Whistler Interpretive Forest, meters from the Sea to Sky Trail, just down a dirt road to the Cheakamus Lake Trail – accessing Garibaldi Provincial Park, and for the kayakers out there, the world class Checkamus River flows right by.
