Hostal La Caridad

Good place to stay, 5/10 minutes walk to centre. Friendly owner (no English) who pick/drop you at busstation (Viazul). Nice room and breakfast.

This was one of the best casa's we had during our trip. The room is big with a small kitchen and a seperate sleeping area. The room is located at the front of the house and from the balcony you have a nice view over the square and everything that is going on there. The owners are the most kind and sincere people we've met during our trip. He speaks good english and we had some interesting conversations and she is very warm and welcoming, we felt at home immediatly.

We stayed for just one night, but I would really recommend to spend at least two nights Not just for the casa and the delicious breakfast, but also for Santa Clara. We found this city different from all other places in Cuba, the atmosphere is very nice and we would have loved to have spend some more time here.

La habitación tenía sala, tv, cocina, patio de servicio... muy completa!

Tolles und sauberes Zimmer (allerdings keine komplett geschlossene Badtür, was man vielleicht wissen sollte, falls man das Zimmer zu viert nutzt ;-))

Die Besitzer der Wohnung sind total herzlich und hilfsbereit, auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen!!!!

Verpflegung auch top.

Mooie locatie met eigen opgang en ruim appartement. Fijne gastheer die goed Engels spreekt.

We had a nice stay in a big room with a balcon view to one of the squares of Santa Clara. Really great to relax with a beer! They also offer good breakfast and parking is for free (which is very rare in Cuba).

Very friendly host family. Great location. Lidias dinner was better than any restaurant. Thank you Lidia and Santiago. We just loved the place!

Looking for a nice casa in the centre of Santa Clara? Hostal la Caridad is the one you are looking for. Outside it might seem like a very small place, but once you've entered the casa you'll really see how beautiful it is. We had an apartment on the first floor. Really big and nice + good airconditioning. In the back of the hostel there are more rooms and a terras where you can enjoy a lovely dinner or great breakfast! (it comes with crêpes!!) So a really good place to stay.

Very lovely people and direct a good feeling when we arrived. They make us a nice coctail (on the house). The center is very close by (walking distance).

war ein nettes, liebenswertes Hostel, das Zimmer zur Staße eher laut, das zur Terasse/Garten ruhiger, dafür ist man zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten im Zentrum

Our hosts Santiago and Lidia made our stay very pleasant. They were helpful and very friendly without being intrusive. Santiago speaks English and he will come and pick you up at the airport or bus station for a small fee.Lidia makes the best soups! After a few hours we had the feeling that we were simply visiting family!

Will definitely recommend this casa.
