Sehr zu empfehlen, da es für einen Rom Besuch in einer guten Ausgangslage liegt. Guter Tipp, nutzen sie den Bus der um die Ecke abfährt.

I was in Rome for most of the summer staying with friends. The very last week, I chose to spend at Ostia Antica Park Hotel and was very impressed with what I received for the amount of money spent. I really have nothing bad to say about this place! The staff was always nice, and the hotel and grounds were full of beauty. The only drawback was it is not centrally located. Depending on what you are looking for though, this could be a good thing(keeping in mind you do have to take buses or a shuttle/taxi to get to beaches; and also the metro to get to Rome's center.)Though I personally would absolutely stay there again:)

If you are searching for a hotel near Fiumicino, this hotel is excelent choice - clean, large and very very mediterranean.

empfehlenswertes sauberes Hotel, Nettes Personal, Hotel ist allerdings etwas umständlich zu erreichen. D.h. erst mit der S-Bahn ca. 20 km auswärts von Rom, und dann evt. 1,5 km laufen oder per Bus, bei dem man nie weiß, wann er kommt, weil es keine Fahrpläne gibt. Die Gegend ist nicht unbedingt die sauberste, ist halt außerhalb der Tourismusmeilen. Viel Spaß !

We booked this hotel in order to be close to the airport in Rome. The hotel was very nice and clean and the staff was very helpful. Although we didn't arrive early enough to tour the nearby ruins, I imagine that the hotel would be well-positioned for that. If you are looking to stay near Rome, however, it is quite a bit away from the city. The room was excellent with a phone, private bath, large terrace, and mini fridge. We used the hotel's shuttle to the airport the morning of our departure for 10 euros per room. The shuttle was on time and very timely. I would definitely recommend this hotel to someone looking for a good deal that is safe and close to Rome's airport.
