Hostel La Pania is in Pruno di Stazzema, 14 km from Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi.
'LA PANIA' Hostel is located in the heart of Regional Park surrounded by the Apuan Alps mountains. It ‘s setted in green landascape in the medievil town of Pruno and it’s a perfect location for people who are looking for quiet and natural aspects.The people can make excursions on the most beautiful mountains of the Apuan Alps like Pania della Croce, Monte Forato and Corchia.

You can visit the impressive touristic cave called “Antro del Corchia” (the most long in Europe) and it easy to reach the worldwide famous quarries where Michelengelo used to find his fantastic marble. It ‘s also possibile to arrange instructive excursions and didactic-naturalistic visit in the Park with specialized guides that work for the hostel.

In a 30 minutes by car you can find the beachs of Versilia Riviera and the unforgettable places of Forte dei Marmi, Marina di Pietrasanta and Viareggio were you can taste the italian dolce vita. You can visit the artistic centre of Pietrasanta (called the “Small Athens” bacause of many artist studios ), Valdicastello Carducci (were born the Italian Prize Nobel for Literature called “Vate”) and Torre del Lago Puccini (where Puccini used to have holidays) .The people can spend half a day to visit the city of Pisa or Lucca that are at 45 minuts far away from the Hostel.

It ‘s possible to take part in educational holidays in natural setting of Pruno: the classes and their teachers can share the experience of exploring nature and to increase knowledge of the environment with activities and games.

The cuisine is typically Tuscan, prepared exclusively with local products.

It ‘s possible to have a shuttle taxi service from Pisa International airport and there is as well the possibility to have the same service from Pietrasanta or Forte dei Marmi Train Station or Pisa Airport.
