BY CAR

Coming from the north of Italy on the highway A1 Florence - Rome (“Firenze– Roma”)

Exit the highway at Magliano. From there, straight towards direction Vescovio, than direction the village of Torri and than direction the village of Montasola.

Coming from Rome or from Rome Fiumicino international airport

Drive to highway A1 Rome-Florence (“Roma-Firenze”): 1 Km before the highway booth, exit at FIANO ROMANO (fee: Euro 1). From there reach the Salaria road driving direction Poggio Mirteto on route S.S. 313. Continue straight to Poggio Mirteto Scalo (the railway station is on the left). Continue direction of the villages Cantalupo, Casperia and than Montasola.

BY TRAIN

Coming from Rome Fiumicino International Airport

A modern Metro goes from Rome Fiumicino Airport, in front of the arrival terminal, to Fara Sabina/Passo Corese (60 minutes) or Poggio Mirteto railway station (66 minutes).

Coming from Rome Termini (Central Station)

Several trains during the day go from the Rome Central Station and/or from the Tiburtina railway station to Fara Sabina/Passo Corese railway station (50 minutes) or to Poggio Mirteto Scalo railway station (56 minutes).

WHEN in Fara Sabina/Passo Corese or Poggio Mirteto railway station

At the railway station, on advance booking you will be picked up by a private car, as courtesy service, up to Montepiano in Montasola Alternatively, from the railway station, on advance booking, you will rent a car.

WHEN in Montasola

Once at the tower, park your car outside the walls of the village. Take the road through the first arch, which is the gate/door to the village. Continue straight up the sloped walk road through the second arch. Turn left to Via Casalini number 8. Ring doorbell, and you will be greeted and welcomed!
