La Controra Hostel Rome

A really fantastic location in the centre of the city-walking distance to all attractions (even the Vatican!). Staff were very helpful and the hostel has a lovely homey atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Los cuartos son muy grandes, los baños también. Tiene una cocina amplia y un living muy bueno para conocer gente. Buen ambiente! Muchas comodidas.. Definitivamente volvería!

Muy mala gestión, me cancelaron unos pocos días antes de llegar y no me devolvieron el dinero de la reserva!

The hostel is excelent.! It's very clean, organized and the location is also good in a safe area. I really recommend it.

Absolutely brilliant. It is so close to everything. A 10 minute walk to major sites even closer for essentials like laundry, supermarket etc. Staff are brilliant and it is so clean and modern. Couldn't recommend it more. More like a hotel with communal areas. I am travelling with children (8 & 10) and it was more than accomodating. Great!!!!

The prices are reasonable. The hostel is difficult to find but it´s worth!;-)

The people working at the hostel were not all that helpful in terms of their knowledge of the city. I asked for help with finding out bus routes and numbers and they didn't seem very interested in actually helping me out...they did tell me where I could get help with that. Besides that the workers were friendly, just not that helpful! Location is good, very close to train station, and relatively short walk to the very center of Rome.

This was the best hostel I have ever stayed in! The staff was amazing; so helpful and really just made you feel welcome and comfortable! More like a temporary family than a hostel. The rooms were very clean and the bathrooms were amazing! Breakfast was also great and it was actually fun to just hang around in the hostel after touring all day. I would recommend this hostel to anybody going to Rome and it does not matter your age!

Staffs are really kindly.

And their facilities are clean.

So if I have a chance to visit Roma, I choose this hostel without question.
