Outside Surf Hostel has a cool and friendly atmosphere, the best preparation for enjoying Rio de Janeiro, aka “Cidade Maravilhosa” as it is called by natives, and all good things it has to offer.
Right in the best point of Recreio dos Bandeirantes quarter, where there are endless possibilities to have fun.

The staff of the hostel is the secret of the Outside Surf Hostel, the best way to discover the Carioca night life, it is like having a private driver and a local tourist guide enjoying the night Downtown, in Lapa, Santa Teresa and the Zona Sul (Leblon, Gávea, Ipanema, Copacabana).


Then hostel offers different kind of rooms:
Female dormitory and Mixed dormitories with bunk beds, no air conditioning and linen not included.
Mixed dormitories with air conditioning and linen included
Private double rooms with and without air conditioning (all private rooms have linen included and possibility of renting an extra single bed)


Breakfast not included in this hostel, however guests can freely use the fully equipped kitchen.
A free WiFi connection covers the entire property. But sometimes i better to share the time with the other guest in the lovely terrace or in the relaxing living-room with TV.


Surroundings

The beautiful Recreio beach and the Pontal Stone (Pedra do Pontal) are right in front of the hostel.
Besides the incredible view, this side of the beach is the point for several sports, with a skate park, 10 km of a bike path in the urban area and the seashore, a square full of trees which is an invite to take a walk on the slack line, and a big boardwalk for outdoor sports.
Last but not least, the classic waves of 'Canto do Recreio'.
