Riva Jaco

Directions ( how to arrive at the hostel) / Upute kako se dolazi do hostela

Bus: Take the bus to Jacó Beach in the Jaco´s Bus Station located in San José. There are frequent buses going directly from the Coca Cola bus station in San José. Fares are about US$5 each way. If you want to leave from SJO airport directly to Jaco you can use Easy Ride Shuttle Services they run 3 times per day from7to SJO airport to Jaco they also pick up at any hotel in San Jose Downtown or Alajuela Downtown.

Car: You can take the new highway that will take you about an hour to reach Jaco. You start in the Escazu/ Santa Ana area on the main highway. You will continue straight through the toll booths, you will pay around 2000 colones or $4 USD to get to Jaco. Once you see signs for Jaco you will exit the highway and be on the main road. You will continue on this main road and cross a large bridge called the Tarcoles bridge which is frequented by tourists looking for alligators. Then you will pass by the Carara National Park on your left and continue straight for another 20 minutes or so until you pass by a large shopping center with a lighthouse in Herradura then you wil drive another 5 minutes and see the first entrance into Jaco on your right, you can enter here or wait for the following entrances depending on where you need to go.

In any of these options, look for KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN, the fast food restaurant, locaten in yeh corner of Plaza Coral, a Comercial Center with Cinema. At that corner turn left 100 meters (opposite to the sea). You´ll see the red Sign of RIVA JACO in a corner.
