Whole Wide World Hostel

The staff here were great and the hostel is well placed. The common room area was great and had a bed which was super useful after checkout when waiting for my night bus! FREE BREAKFAST WAS A LIFESAVER

This was a great hostel, even though I was extremely sick and couldn’t enjoy any of the fun activities. The staff were so helpful, and welcoming. The rooms were quiet (until I got inconsiderate roommates on the last day) since the parties happen downstairs. It was the best possible place for me to be while I was Ill.

I will definitely be back when I am better, so I can partake in all the beer pong and other fun activities planned by the ninjas !

- charging 2% to use debit card is bullshit! Maybe it's time to change bank instead of passing this cost onto your customer, who the majority of are young and don't carry cash on them

-it's autumn so why have you only provided a thin sheet to sleep with!

-the night time activity where shit because the volunteers only socialise with each other. Also, it's unprofessional to tell off the volunteers in the kitchen for not selling enough pub crawl tickets. Everyone knew what was happening and it's awkward. wouldn't recommend this hostel.

Probably a bit too expensive for the cost of the city, a really cheap one. But it's worth it bc free breakfast, pancakes night and other activities organized. DON'T PAY FOR THE KARAOKE! just go to the locale for free (the 40kn includes 2 shots that IMO is a rip off)

Also 2x showers and 1 toilet for a whole floor (more than 20 beds im sure) is not enough... so better go late at night to shower...

This hostel is such a fun place to be. Since it is mostly run by travelers, they really know how to make it fun and create a great environment. It was clean and the rooms were nice and big. I busted 11 countries and 13 cities on my trip this year and I have to say that this was one of my favorites if not my favorite hostel to stay at! I met so many great people that I still keep in contact with today!

Awesome hostel! Comfortable beds, clean room and functioning AC. Clean bathrooms and great pressure in the showers. Staff were wonderful :) Really fun atmosphere and delicious breakfast. Great for a solo traveler. Good location in city centre.

Staff people were sleeping during the night in common areas which didn't give a good impression

It was a very fun hostel for sure! I was travelling solo and met so many great people. They also had so many opportunities for discounts. The only issue is I found sometimes the staff was very full of themselves. For example they always had to be the ones playing beer pong or any drinking game. And I saw multiple staff being unprofessional with people staying there by being very intimate and sexual. The breakfast was great though. Beds sucked. But fun place and you get what you paid for. Great location

Best staff, best hostel I’ve been in. Really awesome atmosphere, super easy to make friends and there’s always some kind of event going on if you want to party but they leave the hostel so it’s also super quiet at night if you want to sleep instead!

Although I stayed for only one night, I still managed to have a great time. The staff were welcoming, polite and really cool. Everything was really good, and I would go there again.

If you're looking for a fun and cheap hostel to stay, this is the place! Staff are great, rooms are spacious and there are different activities every night. Check their website for discounts! Enjoy

It was the best hostel I've ever been. The ninjas (staff) are the best, it is the cheapest in Zagreb and they have FREE breakfast! Also, every night is a different thing. You'll be surprised. Don't forget to check out their discount page ob their website. You can definitely pay even less to stay there. Enjoy!

I chose it because the reviews showed that it was a great place for solo travelers to stay and it sure was!

We played a beer pong tournament which was so much fun and then went to a dance club together.

Location was in the main center of Zagreb, the bathrooms were really clean, staff was super helpful, the ambience was friendly and chill and the free breakfast provided was hot and plentiful. I also got a discount by sharing on Facebook, make sure to check out the website for available discounts first before booking.

Would definitely recommend for anyone especially solo travelers.

The hostel is great located. Bathrooms and dorms are quite clean and new. Mattress was crap and the kitchen is too small for the amount of people staying in the hostel. No system for food storage.

This is a great hostel to meet people in and party. The team who work there are extremely attentive and a lot of fun. There is an activity organised every night in the bar like beer pong which is quality. Couldn’t recommend it enough

Check in took about 10 minutes like at a fancy hotel. However, unlike a fancy hotel they messed my 2 night booking and I had 2 stay in 2 different rooms over 2 nights. Staff were OK - not exactly doing anything to make a lasting impression. A very average hotel for a average city.

I sobbed like Kim K when leaving this place because I grew incredibly attached to it. World Wide Hostel has heart, and will forever own mine. The staff and owner go out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure your time in Zagreb is unforgettable. There is something to do every night, from epic pub crawls to free pancakes. I felt like part of a family, after only being a guest for 4 nights. It made such an impact on me, that I extended my stay 2 more days. This is a Aussie and Kiwi hot spot, and now I am well-versed in all things slang and the protocol for "Eagle Rock". Don't ever change, Cracker and WWW. Most fun hostel on my trip--extended two extra nights because it was so good. Staff are awesome, the nightly activities bring everyone together, and you feel part of the community right away. This is the hostel you want to book in Zagreb!

The staff were great at providing recommendations and answering questions. The bar/loundge area was prime to meet at socialize with other travellers.

The location was not very good because it was a little far from all the touristy stuff. However, it was very good for taking the tram to the train station. The staff were nice enough but a little cold. There weren't that many people in the hostel when i went.
