Hostal Aeropuerto

Great shuttle-service, amazing breakfast, good knowledge of languages ( German, englisch, Spain..) all in all a good location to stay after arrival at the airport!

Abbiamo soggiornato all’Hostal Aeropuerto dell’Avana dal 27 luglio al 29 luglio 2018 ed è stata un’esperienza unica sotto tutti i punti di vista. La casa si trova a pochi minuti dall’aeroporto ed è stata costruita nel rispetto della natura circostante. Le camere sono di nuova costruzione, arredate con gusto e pulitissime. Il punto di forza dell’Hostal Aeropuerto sono però le persone: la proprietaria Magda e la collaboratrice Jamilè. Gentili, disponibili ed attente ad ogni minimo dettaglio, possiamo affermare con certezza che chiunque desiderasse un corso accelerato di “servizio e attenzione al cliente” dovrebbe passare qui qualche settimana. Magda ci è venuta a prendere all’arrivo con la bellissima auto d’epoca tipica di Cuba e ci ha riaccompagnato al momento della partenza. Ci ha detto indicazioni preziose su come muoverci a Cuba (sia informazioni pratiche, che aspetti di cultura locale) e, con il supporto di Jamilè ci ha fatto sentire davvero subito a nostro agio. Ciliegina sulla torta la colazione e la cena!!! Colazione con frutta tropicale (mango, papaya, guayaba), succhi di frutta, “huevos fritos”, biscotti, brioches e marmellate artigianali, servita all’aperto in un bellissimo patio circondato da alberi tropicali. Cene ricche ed appetitose (a 15 Cuc a persona) con antipasto, primo e secondo (di pesce o di carne) e dolce, in un mix di sapori italo/cubani (visti i trascorsi italiani di Magda e gli “insegnamenti” del marito Chef Paolo) “conditi” dalle piacevoli chiacchierate con Magda.

Insomma un posto a 5 stelle, senza alcun dubbio, dove abbiamo vissuto pienamente la nostra esperienza cubana, a diretto contatto con la realtà locale. Lo raccomandiamo assolutamente.

Great casa, looks really good! Very close to Airport, they drop you off for free in a perfect oldtimer (but if you fly in the night you have to pay extra). Far away from Havana centre, not much to do around the casa. Super friendly owner (good English). Next time I would stay in the centre of Havana though, because it's more expensive to stay here than to stay in centre and take an early taxi.

This lovely B&B is run by the most fun, happy married couple. I had a horrible time with my airline and they were understanding and helpful all throughout. The food that the husband cooks is unbelievable. The wife is hilarious and the dogs were the love of my life. You don't even want to visit the rest of Cuba because to me this was paradise. They SAVED my trip; so much so that I wanted to keep them a secret but I also want to shout this is the place to be. Will visit as if they are my second family!!! Thank you! Love You! Miss the babies so much, I can't wait to go back.

The hostel is very close to the airport, so very usefull if you just arrived in Habana.In its beautyfull internal garden you can relax at the bar or in the Jacuzzi! The rooms are very clean and with all facilities that an european tourist would like to find. Magda and Paolo are fantastic and gentle hosts! btw, Paolo is a great Italian chef! we will be back for sure

Magda en Paolo are terrific people. Their location is very quiet and beautiful. Breakfast is very good en Paolo is a very good Italian cook. We stayed three nights en they made our stay very comfortable.

Na een rondtrip van Havana> Vinales> Trinidad en Santa Clara kwamen we weer terug in Havana om met een interne vlucht richting Bayamo te vliegen. Hiervoor kozen we Hostel Aeropuerto, wat op slechts enkele minuten van het vliegveld verwijderd zit. Na een warm welkom door de vrouw des huizes werd ons een heerlijk diner voorgeschoteld. Tot onze teleurstelling bleek onze vlucht die we die ochtend erna hadden geboekt naar Bayamo, te zijn gecanceld. Na wat heen en weer gebel tussen de Casa en het vliegveld werden we op een andere vlucht (in de middag) gestopt richting Holguin. Achteraf geen straf want we hebben heerlijk genoten van het dakterras en de uitgebreide maaltijden.

Bedankt voor de gastvrijheid en wellicht tot in Amsterdam!

This hostel is very clean (a guest room is pretty wide), and really comfortable to stay. The service is excellent as well like a luxury hotel, but you know, the cost is fairy low :) I love the breakfast, especially the pineapple jam! Although the location is not so good as it is apart from the central city, but I still strongly recommend this hostel to everyone who travels to Cuba. The kind owners and cute (and wise) dogs will welcome you!

Wir können dieses Hostel jedem "Kubaneuling" weiterempfehlen! Von der Abholung vom Flughafen, über das Zimmer und dem grandiosen Essen ( Paolo, du kochst auf Sternenküchenniveau) hat alles super funktioniert. Danke auch an Magda für die Organisation unserer Weiterreise nach Cienfuegos und Trinidat. Da Magda sehr gut Deutsch und Englisch spricht, war vieles einfacher planen.

Wenn wir wieder nach Kuba kommen, dann natürlich ins Hostal Aeroporto!!

Wohnung war groß, sauber nett eingerichtet. Sehr liebe Besitzer die sehr gut kochen könnten. Die Unterkunft befindet sich gleich in der Nähe vom Flughafen und es steht sogar ein Jacuzzi zur Verfügung. Leider war ich zu müde um ihn auszuprobieren.

Das Hostal können wir zu 100% weiterempfehlen. Magda und Paolo sind wunderbare Gastgeber, es gibt bestes Kubanisch-Italienisches Essen, die Lage ist ruhig und man kann wunderbar im Mini-Pool auf der Dachterrasse entspannen. Da es sehr nah am Flughafen liegt ist es besonders für An-und Abflug geeignet. Wir sind gerne noch mal zurückgekommen um unsere letzten Tage in Kuba dort zu verbringen.

We had a very nice stay in a newly renovated room with friendly hosts. They speak Italian, English and German and are very helpful. The food was good. The house is located in a quiet area near the airport, which is not that easy to find at the beginning. Old Havanna is reachable within 30 minutes by taxi.

Das Hostel war super sauber, Magda und Paolo waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Magda spricht sehr gut Deutsch.
