Kanha Village Eco Resort is an admirable eco friendly wildlife lodge, next to one of the world renowned and reputed protected forest area and Tiger reserve - Kanha National Park.
At Kanha Village Eco Resort construction of cottages has been done with locally available bio - degradable materials like clay, straw and natural adhesives and principals of Sustainable and Eco Tourism are followed in day to day running of property. It is a luxurious resort within the surroundings of tribal village, 2.7 Kms from Mocha village and 10 minutes drive to Khatia entrance of National park (< 5 Kms). It is set within the Buffer zone of wildlife sanctuary forests, near water body and amidst ancient Sal and Mahua trees. 20 Cottages & Rooms (i.e. 08 Air Conditioned Eco Friendly Cottages, 04 Super Deluxe Air Conditioned Rooms, 08 Deluxe Air Cooled Rooms) at the resort have been tastefully done and offer a breath-taking view of the surrounding Jungles.

Dining Facilities: The two adjacent restaurants ‘Kodo – Kutki’ are spacious, clean and hygienic to highest standards. They are roofed and the sides shaded with curtains. The construction is ethnic, local style but ambience is romantic and full of dining comforts. In between is an open courtyard for fireplace and hosts tribal dances and local music as you munch. The two kitchens are separate and so are the serving accessories, cooking utensils for veg. and non-veg. food. The cuisine is varied continental and Indian with local touch, we serve Chinese, South Indian and Local (Ethnic) Tribal food also as per guests taste.
Our Resort Ambience: The overpowering confines of pristine forest are as unique, grand and serene as Kanha is. The place is in complete harmony with nature - Kanha's enchanting forest canopy. Ideally located at the peaceful surroundings of Kanha buffer the accommodation is clean, spacious and magnificent. For the visitor on wildlife safari it is a unique experience to stay in ethnic dwellings that impersonate tribal village and are yet equipped with classic modern amenities.
The Neighborhood: Dense Forests, Tribal, Village, Tiger, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Gaur, Spotted Deer, Wolf, Hyena, Jackal, Monkeys, Porcupine, Civet, Jungle Cat...Butterflies and a vast check list of Kanha birds. The natural greenery is contiguous with Kanha ecosystem.
Other Facilities / Activities: We provide 4 x 4 Open Gypsy for Jungle Safaris. Other facilities include Swimming pool, Conference hall, TV lounge, library with books on nature, birds and animals, photo gallery, Jungle walk, bird watching, Medicinal Plantation Conservation are visit, Tribal village visits, Cycling, etc. Trained naturalists deliver lectures on wildlife and conservation. There is machans birding and nature trek is organized for the zealous nature lovers and birders.
About Accommodation: We have Cottages, Super deluxe rooms and Standard rooms as per requirement of guests. All rooms are well furnished with large size bed, writing table, sitting area, Electric kettle for Tea / Coffee, large size bathroom, etc., Each Cottages have personal open to sky splash pool. Cottages and Super Deluxe rooms also have Air Condition, mini refrigerator, changing rooms, personal sitting are, etc.,
Responsible tourism: The resort employs and follows eco friendly principles to minimize the impact on the fragile ecosystem by using green roofing, CFL bulbs, organic composting, rain water harvesting and recycling of water. We respect local culture & traditions and by employing local youth we try our best to do our bit for empowering local communities the sentinels of our valuable heritage.
