Sayang Maha Mertha Hotel

Some of the staff were very polite and helpful others weren't friendly and ignored myself. That is why I had to wait especially when men wanted to be served although I was first. When I asked to book in for another night I was told that there was only a more expensive room available. When I had a look in the internet there still were rooms available I had book before. Everybody tries to cheat you who is working in the tourist business. The lady at the travel agency which is linked to the hotel was selling me a tour which was double the price than in other agencies. So book in other agencies which offer you a better price. When you told the cleaning staff to clean the room they did it well.

Fuer 1 bis 2 tage ok, aber nicht laenger.Unglaublich viele Moskitos, kein Netz oder sonstiges vorhanden.Muffige Betten und Zimmer...

Efter hvad du giver for at overnatte her, er stedet okay. Men poolen er beskidt, blev ikke gjort ren. Og der var meget larm pga renovering.

Their staff unfriendly

The Hotel is a very cozy and nice place to stay at, small but cute swimming pool included! The staff is really helpful and the restaurant has some of the nicest Indonesian dishes we tried in Kuta for a reasonable price. Close both to the nightlife area and to the beach, it is definitely a recommended place for budget travelers who enjoy their comfort.

Most of the staff were very abrupt and at times rude. Not very helpful although the lady on the tourist info desk was fantastic. Rooms were very musty and bed linen was very smelly as a result.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Sayang. The staff were always friendly, my room was cleaned every day, the pool is such an added bonus, and the food from the attached restaurant was as tasty but better priced than almsot anywhere else in Kuta. If you do not mind simple lodgings, this is the perfect place to stay!!! I am a happy traveller :)

I'd like to leave this review because you can know before and not choose this hostel.

The hostel was quite dirty and smelly, the service was quite messy, we selected the double beds and they gave our room to someone, so my friend had to sleep on a sucks mattress, and they charged much much more because we not stayed more than one night.

One block from there has the International Backpackers Melbourne that is really good and cheap.

great place,good location not far from the beach or shops and a quiet location in the evening. The only problem was the building work going on which was pretty loud while laying around the pool.

Very nice hotel, room was cleaned every day if wanted and staff was helpful in every way. The pool was nice placew to hang out and meet other travellers. Free breakky only included some toast and fruits but if you paid little you could have any kinda brekky you wanted. Overall, 80/100.

Cleanliness: There were cocroaches, mosquitoes. The room was cleaned everyday, but the standards of cleaning were bad. There was bood in one of my room sheets. Staff is friendly and Engish is no problem. Location is good, really close to ATM and 5 min walk to the beach. In Bali there's no public transport apart from taxis. The swimming pool and restaurant area are ok. Do not book your outings at this hotel, they do not deliver what they promise (this was my experience). Air-conditioning takes about 2 hours to cool the room, as it's in a stupid locaton within the room.

It's the hottest room I have been stay. There was a ceiling fan that didn't work so well, so I asked for other fan, but there wasn't positive answer from the staff.

I had stayed here 13 years ago and it was a dump then. the owners have not spent a penny on its upgrade. However ,it was undegoing construction work when we stayed there and dust was lying along around the pool.The gargens are lovely and so are the poorly paid staff.they seem to use college students on work experience programs,a polite phrase for slave labour. The bathroom of the two rooms we stayed in were very smelly, the walls the sheets grey and the towels also smell of mildew. Avoid it.

El hotel es encantador, ademas tienes opcion de todo tipo de habitaciones y es un lugar donde te posibilita conocer a muchisima gente de todas partes del mundo. Los trabajadores son un encanto.

An excellent, welcoming place to stay. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and keep the place looking great. short walk to beach and clubs but manages to be quiet and tranquil inside. recommend to all

I don't like the fancy hotels, nither too much crowd and fun, so I think it is the right one for the people like me.

I am really glad I picked there! Is clean and tidy and staff are so nice, friendly and helpfull. I would definately recomend it and I will be back. Afordabe and the best in Bali.
