Hotel Calypso Milan *

Clean and simple room. Good location near to the station but in a quiet area.

Staff was very helpfull, let us leave our luggage without any problem. Although hotel door closes at 2 a.m you can reach after that

The hotel was in great location. Only 2 blocks away from the main bus station/train station. The hotel was then about 25min walk from the Duomo and center city. You could also take metro which is down the block. The staff doesnt speak much Engligh but does speak other languages. The curfew is 2am. Even though you dont pay for a shower or bath in your room, there is floor communal one that is fine. Balcony is nice. Room is pretty big. Pretty clean. Good for price. Defiently worth it.

The worst hotel/hostel i have ever been to. A dirty and messy hotel which was really unclean. There was a cooking smell all the time from the owners family who lived in that hotel. The personell, who was the family living there, controls you all the time!they knew all your steps. and they have a curfew at 2am. I can't recommend this hotel, only good thing area is shady but not too bad.

Clean, simple, cheap. Excellent location. Good restaurants nearby. I think nothing really more to say about it.

très proche de la gare centrale donc super pour se déplacer (trains, métro, tramways).Le patron est adorable mais ne parle pas anglais, un peu le francais. les chambres sont bien tenues mais un peu glauques(aucun effort de décoration) et bruyantes(bruit de la rue)l'ensemble reste très convenable

THEY DONT SPEAK ENGLISH-the owners started screaming, this is not an international hotel, maybe if your italian your ok here.

I would stay at anotherhotel if you are considering a hotel in Milan.

a nice familiar hotel; single room appartment including an own bathroom with shower and toilet; all in all a cheap good located familiar hotel ;-)

Le maître des lieu est d'une sympathie rare aujourd'hui. Idéal pour les petits budgets qui ne veulent pas pour autant dormir dans un taudis.A moins de 10min de la stazione centrale.

Muy cerca de la estacion central, muy limpio, tranquilo y el personal muy amable. MUY RECOMENDABLE y a un buen precio

Really near the FS Milano Centrale. Clean. For the price decent enough. I can recommend it to anybody who is staying in Milan for a day or a few days.

Hotel Calypso is simpel, maar keurig hotel. Vriendelijke eigenaars, hele schone kamers. De locatie is uitstekend gelegen bij twee belangrijke metro-lijnen en het centraal station. Voor mij was dit de ideale en betaalbare slaapplek voor een geslaagde stedentrip!

Not very clean and old but ok. Staff didn`t really speak English but we did come along. Nice hot shower although very little!

Very clean, changed sheet once for 5 nights. Staff caused no trouble at all, very discret. As do we. No fun at all, which is not bad at all. They claim for no famosity though. Just a quiet place to stay if with girlfriend. Nice, nice

Very good value for money. Although they have a shared bathroom it was always spotlessly clean. The people are very nice and helpful even though we spoke italian with them. Its only 5 minutes walk from the central station. The area felt pretty safe. I would definately go back.

Malenjkij, ochenj chistij otelj. 10 minut hodjbi ot centraljnoj stancii, 5 minut ot Buenos Aires (znamenitaja ulica dlja shoppinga). V nomerah hotj i staraja mebelj, no vsjo ochenj chistoe. Poljzovalisj obwim dushem i tualetom, no eto ne bilo problemoj, t.k. vsjo vsegda bilo ubranno! Hozjaeva ne govorjat na anglijskom, no oni ochenj milie i druzheljubnie ljudi. Nikakogo vorosvstva v otele i rajon tam bezopasnij. Rjadom metro, kucha kafe, magazinov! Esli vi hotite sekonomitj na zhilje, no pri etom zhitj v tihoj i spokojnoj gostinice v samom centre, Calypso - eto to, chto vi iwete!

reservamos por tres noches, nos cambiamos de alojamiento,si buscar solo dormir esta bien, pero no tiene desayuno, no internet, no cocina, no spacio en comun, muy caro por el servicio basico,nos fuimos a un hotel de 2* por €15 menos con desayuno incluido. muy limpio, pero la ubicacion no muy buena x la noche.

En Octubre una amiga y yo estuvimos alojadas en este hotel familiar 3 noches. Es sencillo y pequeño (nos pareció limpio y el personal bastante amable). Se encuentra cercano a la estación central y se puede coger el metro hasta el Duomo que son 4 ó 5 paradas tan sólo. El precio además resulta asequible por lo que yo al menos sí lo recomiendo. Salu2 y feliz estancia a quienes os animéis a ir x esta hermosa ciudad. Ciao

Lo mejor es que está cerca de la estación de trenes Milano Centrale, aunque no a los 250 metros que anuncia (son 4 calles). Las habitaciones están bien, limpias, pero el personal tiene mala disposición para atender y hay mucho ruido por las noches, lo que dificulta el descanso.

Located very close to the Central Station and a commercial street called corso buenos aires, the Hotel Calypso has been perfect for us as tourist visitors. The staff does not speak English but is nevertheless very eager to help tourists. One of the people there (the owner?) spoke German. We were in a room without toilet but that was no problem at all as the shared bathroom was just opposite of our room. Everything was clean and we even had a nice balcony. Grazie, Hotel Calypso!

Molt bona rebuda i molt bona estança, el tracte amb el personal és perfecte, faràn qualsevol cosa per ajudar-te. Està ben situat, potser és una mica car però ja va d'acord amb els preus de Milà. Totalment aconsellable!

Milan es muy caro para dormir, este en concreto cuesta como en España un buen hotel de 2 estrellas y no tiene baño en la habitacion.

I was very satisfied with Hotel Calypso. It was close to the train station so I really liked that. The only negative is that there were some sketchy people hanging out on the street, but I was there with my boyfriend and felt pretty safe.

Friendly welcome. Nice owners - not sure if we understood eachother, but it didn't seem to matter.

Served it's purpose. Would have been bad if it was hot - luckily it wasn't. No English speaking staff, but friendly.

Zimmer sind sehr sauber, gute Lage, Personal sehr freundlich. Einziger Nachteil: keine Dusche + WC auf dem Zimmer.

Staff very friendly and helpful, excellent location. The room was very clean, no airconditioning though. All in all I was very happy with my stay in Hotel Calypso and would recommend this hotel to others.

La zona non è proprio raccomandabile, ma in compenso la metro è vicina. La pulizia è ottima, lo staff anche.

Place near the train station. There was no fan, so it was really, really hot at night. And as it the rooms were facing the street, it was noisy all night long as well. Place was clean though. The lady in charge tried her best to be helpful, polite and cheerful. The man was however really rude.

Hotel ist sehr gut vom Bahnhof gelegen und die Tramstation der Nummer 1 ist nahe. Die Leute sind freundlich, sprechen aber nur wenig englisch. Für eine nacht sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Würde ich wieder buchen.
