La Caterba Case Vacanza

Opis

Caterba is a 'house complex' placed in the middle of a Medieval village built around the 1200s, called Monte del Lago on Trasimeno lake. The outside walls are all original and the inside architectural structures have been restored.
The village, a time called Fontegianus, for a spring dedicated by the Romans to the divinity Giano, is connected with the Trasimeno lake through an ancient stairway from which it is possible to enjoy splendid sunsets and a magnificent view as far as the Polvese island. In the course of the restoration a very ancient cistern was found and recovered, which can be visited.
The surrounding protecting walls and the 13th century tower are perfectly preserved. You will encounter the tower at the entrance and it will welcome you with its magic character. All the four flats have ceilings with exposed wooden beams, fire-place, architraves of windows and tipical old doors. They have hot water, heating and AC and kitchen with complete appliances.

La Fontanella
This flat takes its name thanks to a little fountain at the entrance; it includes entrance , living area with a stove, two bed, restored ancient arches on sight, a double room, and bathroom. The kitchen is completely furnished for four people.

La Meridiana
This flat takes its name for an old sundial on the outside wall; it includes entrance , living room with fire-place, two bed places and bathroom. A staircase in wood leads to a loft with a double room . The kitchen is completely furnished for four people

L'Archetto
This flat takes its name thanks to a little fountain at the entrance; it includes entrance , living area with a stove, two bed, restored ancient arches on sight, a double room, and bathroom. The kitchen is completely furnished for four people.

Le Scalin d'Oreste
This flat takes its name by a famous hunter owner of the place; it includes an entrance, a living room with fire-place and two bed places, two double rooms, a bathroom, a kitchen completely furnished for six people, a garden with arcade and medieval well connected to the cistern that was uncovered during the work of restoration.
