About us
Skully’s House was built and successfully opened in 2017 as a small, 2 dorm hostel. Since then, we’ve been improving the place and making it bigger and bigger. Right now, we offer 3 dorms and 5 sea view private rooms.

Accommodation
Our oceanfront private rooms have private in-suite bathrooms with hot water showers, and can sleep up to 4 people per room. These private rooms also have air conditioning and are only steps away from the beach.

DORMS: We can assure you that you’ve never seen anything like our dorms.
Each dorm room is unique and has very unusual bed placement so every person can choose what fits their best comfort. For example, you can choose between:
- Double beds - Yey! A couple can sleep together again!
- Long, 3 meters beds – Some of you will be able to sleep with your legs straight for a change
- Swing beds for the courageous!

Services and activities
Skully’s Bar and Restaurant is right here if you will get thirsty or hungry. It opens at 8 am for breakfast, the bar is ready to serve you from 11 am until 11pm. You will get a free shot on your check in! Cheers!
Depending on the day, you can enjoy bingo game, karaoke or life music.
Fantastic cocktails and smoothies are served daily!
Also, this is the place where you will have a chance to meet a real pirate! Although, you must see it to believe it!
We have many totally free activities. There is a ping pong table, pool table, horseshoes game, axe throwing, swimming pool, gym on the beach, board games, chess, foosball, corn hole, darts, hauger house – challenge the pirate on this XVI century game!
Basically, there is no way to get bored in here!
Going for a walk or ride, you will be able to enjoy the wildlife of the island.
Howler monkeys, sloths, plenty of birds and if you are lucky, even armadillos! Dolphins are passing often in the front of the property so you might have a chance to see them even from your ocean view room!

Surroundings
We are located 3km out of town that makes the place ideal for those who want a break from noisy, crowded places.
The whole property is right on a private, sandy beach with a reef just steps away. You can relax on the beach on comfy sun beds, between the palm trees, jump into our swimming pool or simply chill on hammocks or the big swings by the sea.
Ask any staff member for a coconut straight from the palm tree.

But that’s not all yet!
You also can:
- Rent a quad (ATV) Bocas del Toro’s #1 activity. Enjoy exclusive trails with lookout points, crazy jungle trails and loads of fun.
- Rent a regular bicycle or an e-bike and get easily wherever you like.
(Surf racks are available for both the quads and the E-bikes)
- Rent snorkelling gear and enjoy the reef right in the front of the hostel
- Rent surf boards – the best spots on the island are directly in front of Skully’s (when conditions are right), the next is an easy 5 minute walk away and the next another 5, and so on!
