About us
Kalu Yala is a luxury full-service 'camping' resort, located at Kalu Yala. Accommodation
We have 26 private rooms ranging from doubles to group rooms with a combination of double beds and bunk beds. Bathrooms and Showers are shared, but are modern and kept impeccably clean. We do not offer air conditioning because our micro-climate and longitude make every night of the year a perfect 68 degrees Fahrenheit (20 degrees celsius). We provide all linens, towels, and toiletries.

Services and activities
Every room has a private lounge space, plus our Town Square can hold up to 150 people and offers a full-bar, restaurant, hammock lounge, small town store, art gallery, tours and activities desk, co-working spaces with high-speed internet, and an on-site medical clinic.

Surroundings
We own 575 acres (225 hectares) with the only permit in a 7,000 acre nationally protected rainforest river valley and we back up to the 310,000 acre (135,000 hectares) Chagres National Park. We are located only 1 hour from Panama City and the international airport, but our location feels like a million miles from anywhere due to the difficult access road over the mountain that forms our valley.
