Situated in the Northern residential part of Bucharest, in the middle of the most beautiful park of the city, on the shore of the Herastrau Lake, the Herastrau Resort offers unforgettable moment’s non-stop. The modern equipment, the professionalism and the wide range of services, the easy access by car, a 10 minutes drive from the city center and a 15-20 minutes drive from the Henri Coanda (Otopeni) International Airport, and 5 min. away from the Arch of Triumph, are good arguments for the Herastrau Resort to become the favourite place of tourists coming over for business or pleasure.

The Herastrau Resort guarantees the success of all events. The resort includes a newly opened 3 star hotel with impeccable quality in all of its services and assures comfort in its 68 accommodation places. The Herastrau Resort also offers you its famous restaurant with a capacity of 1500 places uniting 6 halls, each with its own specific theme. We also have summer terraces both indoor and outdoor ones overlooking the lake. Our boat trips around the Herastrau Lake can be made enjoying a cup of coffee and delicious pastry, with a capacity of 60 seats/boats available for rent for 35-40 minute strolls around the lake. Tourists will never have to worry about where to leave their cars because we have a 100 - car parking lot at their disposal 24 hours/day as well as great activities in both the warm and cold seasons, such as tennis courts available all year, even in the cold season (enclosed in winter-domes).
Accommodation structure: 25 double rooms (10 king-size beds (French beds) and 15 twin beds), 2 suites, 1 suite with 2 bedrooms, 5 cabins (each cabin consists of 2 floors – the first floor is a living room and the second floor is a bedroom with 2 beds). Modern accommodation places equipped with air conditioning, bathroom (with shower cabins in double rooms and bathtubs in suites), mini bar, cable TV, internet access, radio, international access telephone. The Herastrau Hotel also has a mini office center for tourists coming on business, offering them full access to: fax, internet and e-mail, telephone, copier as well as a small conference room. Services provided: room-service, laundry – pressing, safety deposit box, shuttle service (both to and from the airport). Special hotel facilities: wheelchair access, electronic payment (credit cards accepted), etc. Specific hotel services provided: tourist information, maps, diverse magazines, courier services, etc.
LEISURE
The location of the Herastrau Resort in the Herastrau Park creates possibility for a series of activities during the warm season including: boat trips – 2 boats with 130 place capacity on each one, floodlit tennis courts, playground for children, fitness center, sauna, massage - available for the hotel customers. Children’s Island (in the summer) and Children’s Balloon (in the winter) which represents an inflatable game park (the best and most unique game park in Romania). Children have the opportunity to enjoy unforgettable parties, diverse menus and lots of animated characters. Children’ Island (Children’s Balloon) creates fun for the whole family.
EVENTS
The Herastrau Resort includes halls available for: conferences, symposiums, trainings, seminars etc. The hotel have 6 halls making up a total surface area of approximately 1200 square meters with a total capacity of 600 places in the following structure: The 'Junior' Hall – 140 square meters (total capacity: 40 places), The 'Diplomat' Hall – 280 square meters (total capacity: 200 places), The 'Red' Hall – 295 square meters (total capacity: 150 places), The 'Green' Hall – 175 square meters (total capacity: 70 places), The 'Bleu' Hall – 115 square meters (total capacity: 50 places). The equipment provided free of charge during such events are the following: screen and flipchart. We also have a video-projector at a charge. The halls are available for rent only together with other services offered by our resort; the details are established with the organizer(s) of the event(s).

All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card that will be charged on arrival date. Reservations must be cancelled at least 2 days prior to arrival date. In case of cancelling within 2 days a penalty of the full stay including tax will be applied. No show fee will be 100 % of the full stay including tax.
