Directions for Bed and Breakfast Los Castros.
From 16.00 we present to new guests. If you want to come earlier, please let us know in advance.
By car: East: From the airport drive to Santa Cruz. From the roundabout before Santa Cruz go further in the direction of Los Sauces / Barlovento. After about forty minutes you´ll arrive in Barlovento. From Barlovento follow the LP1 to Franceses. Caution: do not miss the sign towards Garafía, still in the village Barlovento to the right! About 20 minutes after you leave Barlovento you´ll drive through a tunnel. About 800 meters after the tunnel you turn right to Franceses, there is a small wooden sign that indicates the village. After a few turns you see to the right of the road in a turn a white house, number 56, on which a satellite dish with the text 'Televes' is mounted. Just before this house turn to the right. Drive down about 300 metres and you´ll find our entrance at the left of the road, opposite the well and identified by the sign with our names. West: Drive through Los Llanos Tijarafe and Puntagorda to the north. Just stay on the LP-1 through Llano Negro and Roque Faro, direction Barlovento. You'll leave the LP-1 at the exit Franceses. You drive into Franceses (Los Machines called there) and then out again. After a few turns you see to the left of the road in a turn a white house, number 56, on which a satellite dish with the text 'Televes' is mounted. Immediately after this house go down to the left. Drive down about 300 metres and you´ll find our entrance at the left of the road, opposite the well and identified by the sign with our names.
You´re guaranteed to find us with these instructions. Take your time, it's a long drive and there is much to see on your way there.
By bus: From Santa Cruz, take line 100 to Barlovento. In Barlovento transition direction Santo Domingo. After the bus drives through the dark tunnel it turns right to Franceses. Ask the driver to stop at Los Castros, where the hiking trail begins GR130 to Barlovento. You recognize the right place by the white house with the satellite dish, number 56. Here you walk down. You see the sign with our names after 300 meters on the left side of the road opposite the spring.
On foot: Our B & B is right on the GR130. From Barlovento one of the first houses you´ll pass in Franceses, at the right of the path you will see our entrance opposite the well. From Santo Domingo after the village (Los Machines) leave the tarmac, turn left onto the GR130 trail.
Grocery Those who want to buy groceries and cook for themselves can do so in Barlovento (Spar, open from 8.00-20.00h) or Los Sauces (Spar or Hyper Dino, open from 9-21h.) On Sunday the shops are closed.
Dinner You can join us for dinner (€ 14,50 pp). Of course we would like to know in advance, please mail in advance or call no later than 12:00 on the day of arrival.
