Dancing Elephant No.1 party hostel was the very first and original hostel to hit Haadrin in 2009.
Our hostel is open only for the full moon party festival, few days per months, we dedicate our full energy to this time...
If you prefer a more chillout ambience, we opened in December 2017 the new 'Dancing Elephant Beach Club', on the beach, in Baantai...

We are famous for our hospitality, but not only, you will enjoy the famous original STREET PARTY, with international DJ every nights!

**BEST DAY TO ARRIVE**

We HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you arrive 4 nights before the Full Moon Party! Here it is a FESTIVAL, there are parties every night leading up to the Full Moon. Some say that these parties are even better than the Full Moon itself! AVOID checking in the full moon day, you will not enjoiy the experience. Also AVOID checking out the night after the Full Moon Party, as it goes all the way until sunrise, and followed by an amazing AFTER PARTY.

You aren’t staying with us to experience the Full Moon on your own. You are staying with us to make loads of amazing friends to SHARE the experience with. Come a bit earlier to enjoy some great parties (before the Full Moon), and give yourself more time to get to know the people who’ll be partying with you! There’s no strangers here, only friends you haven’t met yet.

**STREET PARTY**

We host the best pre-party on the island, the Dancing Elephant Street Party! Every night international DJ, FREE ENTRY!

**STAFF**

Run by individual people from America, Thailand and the crazy French owner David, and his wife Nanda from Burma. Fellow travelers ourselves, we are able to provide a great contrast of experience, worldwide knowledge and of course a bloody good party that you'll never forget! You’ll be hard pressed to find a team more committed to providing an amazing Full Moon experience.

**MISSION**

We provide a clean and safe hostel, with vibrant character and colourful charm like no other you will visit in Asia. Regardless of whether or not you’re traveling solo or in a group, you’ll be calling this home straight away.

We strive to provide each and every one of our guests with five-star service along with a comfortable, friendly atmosphere that makes everyone feel at home. Each guest should expect to leave the island with people they didn’t know upon arrival. This is a result of attracting amazing people such as yourself, and the five night minimum.

**DORMS**

We have an assortment of dorms to fit every travelers needs.
We also have private rooms.
We do fill up fast so booking in advance is advised!

**DAY TRIPS**

Get out of bed, hang overs aren’t that bad!!! There are many cool things to do in the day which are a whole lot better with 50 - 100 bunk mates all sliding and flying into water, enjoying sunsets on booze cruises and much, much more.
During Full Moon week we will have a shuttle to take you down to the Dancing Elephant Beach Club, in Baantai.

**TRAVEL DESK**

Our travel desk will help you with your onwards travel, it is run by experienced travellers who always try to get you the best deal they can. Normally people arrive with 1-5 in their group and leave with many more.

**DIRECTIONS TO THE HOSTEL**

FROM HAAD RIN PIER: You just need to walk 250 meters to the Dancing Elephant No.1 Party Hostel.
Go straight, turn in the second street on your left, then right, you are home.

FROM THONGSALA PIER: Haadrin is your destination, some taxi may take you to the new place in Baantai :) but not, you go to Haadrin at the Dnaicng ELephant No.1 Party Hostel.

**RULES (for everyone’s safety and sanity!) ***

No outside alcohol allowed on the premises
No food or drink (water is ok) allowed in the dorms.
No outside guests allowed in the dorms (protection of belongings)

**EXTRAS**

We provide towels, lockers, filtered drinking water, and free wifi. You will need to provide your own padlock for the lockers. All common areas and lockers under CCTV surveillance for the security of our guests and their belongings.

Check in: 11am till 11pm
Check out: 11 am till 9 pm

**During New Year period**

Check in: 1 pm till 11 pm
Check out: 11 am

Minimum stay:

• 5 nights for Full Moon Week
• 7 nights for New Year

Pre-Payment Terms:

• Full Moon Period, 1000THB per person and remaining balance on arrival
• New Year Period, 5000THB per person.

On receiving you’re booking we will send you an email asking you to pay the pre-prepayment. You can do this using paypal or a credit card.
If you wish to prepay in full, a 3% on top will be charged, this is due to the bank fees.

**IMPORTANT**

If you do not receive this pre payment email, please contact us straight away to our email (you could find on your booking confirmation letter.) Also please have a look in your spam folder, it might automatically get sent there due to your email settings.

NO SHOW = NO REFUND

**CANCELATION**

Full Refund up to 14 days before arrival.
