FROM ATATURK AIRPORT (IST) TO ANTIQUE HOSTEL

PRIVATE SERVICE (30 minutes around)
Antique Hostel provides 7/24 pick up service for you from Atatürk Airport (IST) to the hostel (30 euro - 65 km) one way. Price is per service, not per person. Please inform us about your flight number, airport name and arrival time in advance on online booking form or via e-mail. (Pick up service prices are for maximum 4 people, we organize private minibus service for bigger groups and is double price)

TAXI (40 minutes around)
There is Airport Taxi Station in front of the exit. There is counter in taxi and counts around 40TL if there is no traffic. If it waits in traffic then it will count more.

METRO & TRAM (1 hour around)
You can travel from Istanbul's Atatürk Airport to Sultanahmet, completely by Metro & tram in about 1 hour for 4TL. (all day crowded) You arrive in the International Arrivals terminal, purchase your visa, pass through Immigration (passport) and Customs control. Exit the secure Customs area, turn right and walk to the end of the terminal watching for signs to the Metro. Stop along the way to get some Turkish Liras from currency exchange offices or cash machines (ATMs) in the Arrivals hall. You'll need some Turkish liras to buy your Metro and tram coins, or to pay for a taxi. Go down the escalator, through the sliding glass doors, turn right and follow the Hafif Metro/Light rail system signs along the broad underground concourse to the Havalimanı (Airport) Metro station on the left at the end. This concourse beneath the parking garage connects the Domestic and International terminals. Buy two Metro tokens (jeton) at the booth, the price is 2TL each. You'll need two tokens to travel from Atatürk Airport to Sultanahmet. Pass through the turnstile, descend the escalator (or elevator) and board a Metro train for Aksaray, The Havalimanı (Airport) station is the end of this Metro line, so you can board any train—they all go to Aksaray. You can't get the wrong train. Get out at Zeytinburnu, the 6th stop. Exit the Metro train and purchase an Istanbulkart transit pass for all kind of public transportation (if your stay is more than 2 nights), or use another token to enter the tram turnstiles on the same platform. Look for trams marked Eminönü or Kabataş (not Bağcılar) Board the tram to Eminönü and/or Kabataş. Ride the tram eastbound to Sultanahmet, the 16th stop (the recorded station-stop announcement says” Blue Mosque/Sultanahmet” and get out. You'll be on Divan Yolu street at the northeastern end of the Hippodrome with the Blue Mosque clearly in view. Follow the tram line down (passing several restaurants on the left and the Information Office on the right) to the Intersection and traffic lights; cross over to the right and enter the courtyard between St. Sophia on your left and the Blue Mosque a little further on your right.Go all the way through the courtyard and turn to your right at the end. Take the first left at the taxi stop and follow the street all the way down passing the Four Seasons Hotel on the left ...walk down and then end of the street turn right you will see on the left Antique Hostel & Guesthouse sign. FROM SABİHA GÖKÇEN AIRPORT (SAW) TO ANTIQUE HOSTEL
Transport between Sabiha Gökçen Airport and the center of Istanbul is by private pick up service, city bus, Havaş Airport Bus, taxi and car rental. The journey between Old Istanbul and the airport can take as little as 40 minutes under the best conditions (06:00 am on a weekend morning, for example), but at other times you must allow 60 to 90 minutes, and perhaps even more.

Please inform us about your flight number, airport name and arrival time in advance on online booking form or via e-mail. (Pick up service prices are for maximum 4 people, we organize private minibus service for bigger groups and is double price)

TAXI
The fare may be about 105TL to 120TL to Sultanahmet, but only 30TL to the coastal town of Pendik, where you can catch a train (banliyö treni) to Haydarpaşa, then a ferry to Karaköy and a tram to Sultanahmet. Tell the driver Pendik Tren İstasyonu. You'll save money and you may save time by taking a taxi to an Asian-shore ferry dock (Üsküdar,Haydarpaşa, Kadıköy), then taking a ferry to the European shore.

CITY BUS (2,5 hours around)
The least expensive way to go between the airport and the city is by E-10 or E-9 city buses, which costs less than 3TL to go to the Kadıköy or Bostancı ferry docks (about one hour / 30 minutes). From Kadiköy, you can walk (10-15 minutes) north to nearby Haydarpaşa Railway Station. The E-10 also stops near the Harem intercity bus terminal, a good place to catch the ferry to dicetly Sirkeci which is just 5 minutes away from Sultanahmet by tram. (Ask the driver for Harem Otogar). The E-9 goes to Bostancı Ferry station and there are fast seabuses to Kabataş. (Seabus the Schedule: http://.tr/en/index.cfm?page=SubPage&kapsam=175&textid=3094&ln=EN) Take tram from Kabataş to Sultanahmet. There is only one tram line and Kabataş is the first station. You can not take the wrong one because all trams passes through Sultanahmet. The E-10 city bus departs Sabiha Gökçen Airport about every 30 minutes throughout the day. From 21:00 (9 pm) to 06:00 am departures are more or less hourly (21:00, 22:00, 23:00, 24:00, 01:00, 02:00, 02:30, 03:30, 05:00, 06:00). The bus makes several stops in the town nearby, they goes on the E-5 highway to Kadıköy. Here's the full schedule: http://.tr/en/ Ferries run from Kadıköy to Karaköy from 06:30 am to 00:00 (12 midnight) every 15 or 20 minutes during the morning and evening rush hours; from 20:00 (8 pm) to 00:00 (12 midnight), ferries depart Kadıköy for Karaköy every 30 minutes, on the hour and half hour, with the last ferry departing Kadiköy at 00:00 (12 midnight). Leave the bus at Kadıköy, say 'Eminönü Feribot?' to anyone, and they'll point to the dock right next to the bus stops. Buy a jeton (token), or use an İstanbulkart, at the fare booths and board a erry across the Bosphorus for Eminönü, then a tram or a taxi to Sultanahmet. Follow the tram line down (passing several restaurants on the left and the Information Office on the right) to the Intersection and traffic lights; cross over to the right and enter the courtyard between St. Sophia on your left and the Blue Mosque a little further on your right. Go all the way through the courtyard and turn to your right at the end. HAVAŞ AIRPORT BUS (1,5 hour around)
Havas airport buses serve most flights at Sabiha Gökçen Airport, taking you to all the way to Taksim Square in Beyoğlu on the European shore.Havaş buses are timed to the arrival of all flights, departing the airport 25 minutes after flight arrival time. Take Funicular Metro from Taksim to Kabataş (one line and one stop only) and tram from Kabataş to Sultanahmet. There is only one tram line and Kabataş is the first station. You can not take the wrong one because all trams passes through Sultanahmet. FROM BUS STATION – OTOGAR TO ANTIQUE HOSTEL (40 minutes around)
You'll need two tokens to travel from Esenler Otogar to Sultanahmet. You can easily see the board a Metro train for Aksaray, so you should be sure about the Aksaray way train—there are 2 ways. Get out at Aksaray, the 7th stop. Exit the Metro train and purchase an Istanbulkart transit pass for all kind of public transportation (if your stay is more than 2 nights), or use another token to enter Yusufpaşa tram stop turnstiles on the next (paralel) street. Look for trams marked Eminönü or Kabataş (not Bağcılar) Board the tram to Eminönü and/or Kabataş. Ride the tram eastbound to Sultanahmet, the 5th stop (the recorded station-stop announcement says ” Blue Mosque/Sultanahmet” and get out. FROM TRAIN STATION – SİRKECİ TO ANTIQUE HOSTEL (10 minutes around)
Take tram which goes to the left way at the main street in front of train station and 5 minutes after you will arrive Sultanahmet tram stop. (2nd stop) Follow the tram line down (passing several restaurants on the left and the Information Office on the right) to the Intersection and traffic lights; cross over to the right and enter the courtyard between St. Sophia on your left and the Blue Mosque a little further on your right.Go all the way through the courtyard and turn to your right at the end. Take the first left at the taxi stop and follow the street all the way down passing the Four Seasons Hotel on the left ...walk down and then end of the street turn right you will see on the left Antique Hostel & Guesthouse sign.
