Housed in an Art-Nouveau building in the heart of the city, Portus House Istanbul is a unique establishment designed and managed by travellers just like our guests. Our main goal is to provide a feeling of comfort and safety for our international visitors, who are in search of a 'hostel with a touch'.

Portus features 10 rooms including a four bed dorm, 3 triple rooms with shared bath room, 3 double or twin rooms with shared bathroom, and 3 double rooms with private bath rooms.

NEW!!! We serve a fresh & filling Turkish brekfast with differing varieties for every day.
On top of it, free tea and coffee can be enjoyed throughout the day. Our guests can also make use of the fully equipped, modern communal kitchen, one of the most appreciated feature of our guests! For your convenience, there is a supermarket across the street as well as plenty of great restaurants nearby.

We are located in a quiet street right by the lively Galata Port, in Istanbul's prime starting point for tours in all directions by foot, by ship, by metro-tram and by bus.
