About us
Ewaka Backpackers strives to become a full Eco-hostel. Right now we have several projects started but we are not there yet. But! We are fully operational.

We mark ourselves on the Hostel map by providing the best beds and linen in Kampala. To hire the best and most knowledgeable staff. If you have any questions regarding any amazing trips, public transport, history, language or anything else! Our staff knows everything. Accommodation
We have 2 six person ensuite dormitories, complete with linen, mosquito nets and good pillows! We also have 2 private ensuite rooms and 3 two person dormitories.

Our kitchen is fully accessible and fully equipped for you to use for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We just ask to clean up after you :).

All bookings have access to our free WiFi!

Services and activities
We have a big common area with enough seats, a big garden with a big firepit and a BBQ, a patio and a courtyard with plenty of seats.

Breakfast is not yet included, but for a small fee of 5000 Ugandan Shilling ($1.25) We can make you a delicious Avocado toasted bun poached egg.


Surroundings
Ewaka is located in a peaceful residential area. there is a fruit and vegetable market nearby and a short 10 minute walk to Capital Shoppers supermarket. A supermarket that will provide you with anything you need.

Ewaka Backpackers has become quickly a must go place in Kampala, not only our our rates the cheapest! But our staff is amazing, Our garden is lucious green and peaceful. We are also changing in to an Eco-hostel. See us develop day by day while you stay with us! And no.. we don't look like a construction site. And last but not least. We have 2 dogs.
