Green Tortoise Hostel San Francisco

Awesome place to stay, clean!

That was amazing. I Do like this hostel. It's so clean and those who works in there are kind. And the best thing is the chill out area. You can do wifi in your room. I recommend this hostel.

Cette auberge de jeunesse est la meilleure que j'ai jamais eu. Elle est très propre, le personnel est très sympa et les lieux sont très accueillants : salle diner/petit dej commune avec billard et babyfoot, ordinateurs à disposition avec Internet, nombreuses soirées organisées. par contre NE RESERVEZ PAS AVEC HOTELSCLUB SE SONT DES VOLEURS!!! Ils nous ont arnaqué sur le prix en rajoutant des taxes non comprises au départ et dont aucune mention n'était stipulée sur le site. Malgré nos mails, ils n'ont fait aucun effort commercial et ont même eu le culot de modifier leur site pour rajouter la mention "taxes non incluses" et de nous dire "bah si ça y est"... L'auberge de jeunesse a accepté de prendre à sa charge les taxes non annoncées par ce site tiers : TRES CLASSE!!

I feel very comfortable for the fee. For example, the bedroom is very clean and wide for me. And also, the facility is very convenient like free access of WiFi and free breakfast. I want to stay at your hostel at next visit.

Auberge chaleureuse et très accueillante, une ambiance vraiment simpa (possibilité de boire a l'intérieur), diners gratuits 3 fois par semaine, gros petits dejeunés, concerts dans l'auberge etc...

Niveau emplacement c'est bien, prêt de chinatown et a 10min a pied de market street.

Les seuls reproches: des chambres trop petite, des douches/WC (toujours propres) en nombres insuffissants (5 par étages) et son prix plutôt élevé pour une auberge.

Mais elle vaut vraiment le coup !

active, good place, classical hostel. More bathrooms-at least without shower-would be ok.

the hostel is very well organized (save) and at the same time great fun. next time i would definitely book green tortoise again. the cleanlines of the public showers is a big plus. the stuff knows a lot of good places to go. the only thing i would slightly improve is the breakfast. basically good and fresh but more variety would be great.

My friend and I were booked in for 3 nights initially and extended it to 5 after we arrived at the Green Tortoise, because it was such a great hostel! Would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a social atmosphere and a nice place to stay. Cheers!

i am in love! a place that values my need to travel cheaply buy also have an awesome time. thanks for making my first time in the city a blast... it will be my #1 choice when i return.

An overall excellent hostel. Highly recommended! One of, if not the, best hostels we have stayed in.

highly recommended, especially if you are backpacking around the world. The free food certainly helps with the budget.
