Banff International Hostel

From Calgary:

Follow the Trans Canada Highway for about 120 km until you get to the first Banff exit. Take the exit and keep to the left. Turn left towards Banff. Stay on Banff Ave to Marten Street and the hostel will be on the right hand-side before the turn-off onto Marten and before the Shell Gas Station.

Directions from the Northwest:

Coming from the Northwest on Highway 1, turn right at the second exit, Banff Ave. Follow Banff Ave 4 blocks to Marten St. We are on the right hand side at the corner of Marten St and Banff Ave, across from the Shell gas station.

Directions from the Greyhound Station:

Whether coming from east or west, all Greyhound buses drop you off at the Greyhound Station. When you exit the station turn left onto Elk St. At Marten St. turn left and follow it all the way to the end. We are on the left hand side just past the Best Western. Taxis are available and will cost approx $7-10.

From the Airport

Calgary International Airport is the nearest airport to Banff.

If traveling by car:Turn left onto Airport Rd. NE. Turn left onto Barlow Trail NE Provincial Route 2A N. Turn slightly left. Turn left onto Airport Trail NE. Merge onto Provincial Route 2 S/ Deerfoot Trail NE via the ramp on the left towards the city centre. Take the Trans Canada Highway (Highway 1) 16 Ave NW exit (exit 258). Keep right at the fork to go onto Provincial Route 1 W / Trans Canada Highway West. Follow the Trans Canada Highway for about 120 km till you get to the first Banff exit. Take the exit and keep left. Turn left towards Banff. Stay on Banff Ave to Marten Street and the hostel will be on the right hand-side before the turn-off onto Marten and before the Shell Gas Station.

If traveling by bus:The Airporter or the Brewster Airport Service will pick you up directly from the airport and drop you off at the hostel here in Banff.
