We booked the hostel but when we arrived, despite having paid a deposit they had no confirmation and we're closed. This was a big problem for us. We did not get the money back but the hostess was great and found us another Casa. Always call to confirm ? I was very annoyed about the money. Far out of Havana. Not great for getting into the city. Apparently the hostel is closed ?

A lovely casa, with lots of space to spread out and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Playa neighbourhood. The room is tastefully decorated and well maintained. Breakfast was very good. The location may not be right for everyone so be sure you know where you are going to be - it's not Vedado. The only complaint we had was the two small dogs next door belonging to the hostess' mother. After a long car ride back from Trinidad we were napping and kept getting woken up by the dogs. Dogs were quiet at night, however, so if you don't need to nap this place is lovely.

This was one of the best casas we stayed in, in Cuba! Wonderful! And very nice people to welcome you. The location is a bit far from Old Havana but the Casa is definitely worth it! Beautiful, spacious apartment.

Marta and her family were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was big and comfortable and very clean. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the location. Quiet and nice area but kind of far from the center and anything else even though transport was close.
