About us
The house was bought in 2012 and has been renovated recently. Magdalena Barreto lives in 'La Casita' with her son and daughter Willy & Jessica Barreto, who are teenagers. The atmosphere in our guest house is very warm. It is a typical Cuban family with nice characteristics.

Accommodation
Room 'La Charanga'

This room is well-furnished with a huge double bed, a bedside table and a capacious cupboard. It is also equipped with an air-conditioning and one ventilator to refresh oneself from cuban’s tropical heat. The small balcony gives you a good view (on) the sea. The bathroom which goes with the room with hot- and cold running water is beautiful and has been renovated recently.

The kitchen and living room in the 1st floor are shared with the family. In the 2nd floor there are the two rooms, which are for rent and one shared bathroom for both rooms. On the top of the building there is a big terrace to let you soul dangle and drink a refreshing Mojito.

Surroundings
Compared to Havana’s old town the Vedado district is spacious and a strong breeze flows through it. Many hotels are located here. The most beautiful and noble hotel is the Hotel Nacional with its twin towers built on a ledge above the Malecon. The streets that run through an array of palm trees offer a chance to loaf about and discover sublime colonial architecture as well as decayed buildings. The center are the 'la Rampa' and the 'Calle 23'. Not far from there is the ice cream palace 'La Copel
