Great place to stay. Baby friendly. Massive breakfast. Friendly staff.

Very steep, narrow stairs...awkward with luggage, but everything else was excellent!

Our stay at Villa Azul was great and our family was lovely. I only wish we had more time here to get to know them better. I hope we can return here soon!

Absolutely a advisable stay! The family is lovely, really helpful and speak perfect english. The location in the old town is great! It only takes a bit of waking to get to the restaurants and shops, but as if all feels really safe, this does not matter a lot.

Nice place in Havana Viejo. The family helped us with trips, taxi's and restaurants. We got a nice room with fan and airco.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and served with love. Location was excellent and only a 15-minutes walk to the heart of Havana. The accomodation was clean, although the bathroom was "smelly" which I suppose is a general Cuban problem and the airconditioning was not a top performer.

All in all a very good choice and recommendable! We enjoyed our stay!

We stayed here for 3 nights and returned for an additional night before leaving Cuba. The casa is very clean and had everything we needed. Grace the owner was very nice and helpful and made us feel at home.

Great Host and Hostess. Great Hospitality. I stayed here for 5 nights in October. Large clean room with air conditioner and fan. I strongly recommend having dinner here. Greisy(Hostess) is really good cook!

Many thanks again for a wonderful experience during our stay in Havana, great central old town location, rooms are well fitted with a/c and fans, good showers and breakfast highly recommended! Owner was very hospitable and helpful and spoke good English.

Casa particular située dans le vieil Havane à 2 rues des spots importants à visiter, donc calme et très bien placée. Chambres sobres mais fonctionnelles particulièrement propres, avec climatisation, certes un peu bruyante mais efficace (nous en avons louées 3). Chaque chambre a sa salle de douche privative avec WC, fonctionnant parfaitement (eau chaude, froide, et avec pression). Petits déjeuners copieux à 5 CUC et diners délicieux pour une dizaine de CUC. En particulier, demandez la crème au caramel ! Greisy est une excellente cuisinière. Michel et Greisy font tout pour qu'on se sente comme chez soi. Ils n'hésiteront pas à vous aider si vous rencontrez le moindre problème, comme cela nous est arrivé pour une histoire de bagage perdu à l'aéroport.

Cinq étoiles pour l'accueil si chaleureux !

A noter: les chambres sont à l'étage, donc non adaptées aux personnes à mobilité réduite.

Villa Azul was great. Grace was very nice and helpful. She helped organize taxis for us to other parts of the country and was just reall accommodating overall. I recommend it.

Súper recomendado!!! Excelente servicio al cliente, cuenta con privacidad, baño y habitación en excelente estado siempre limpio, el desayuno es bastante grande y muy bueno, las camas son muy cómodas. Se encuentra ubicado en el centro de Habana Vieja por lo que puedes ver la realidad de Cuba desde Villa Azul...

Villa Azul was a wonderful location in Havana Viejo! Everything was clean and spacious, and the hosts were very welcoming. I could easily and safely walk to the sights I wanted to see - several of the plazas, parques, the capitol, and the bay. The optional breakfast was very worth the price. Highly recommend!

The only problem was with the agency which send us registration email. I ask them 2 questions by mail. In first mail I asked them about time arrival, because we don´t know for sure if we can make it for that one which I wrote on registration, they ignore it and after few days another one if they can provide information about parking they ignore it too...

Très bien situé dans la Havana Vieja, proche des rues commerçantes et au calme. Je recommande le petit déjeuner copieux et équilibré. Habitation spacieuse et très propre avec la clime.

Accueil très chaleureux avec beaucoup de conseils outils. Greisy était toujours là pour nous aider de trouver des taxis, d'autres casas et elle avait toujours la réponse à nos questions. Elle mérite bien les dix étoiles. Rien de négatif.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay here at Villa Azul. It felt safe, it was extremely clean and Grecie and the other staff were lovely. They offer breakfast each morning which is fantastic!! Highly recommend.

I made a reservation to stay at Villa Axul, but when I arrived, I was taken to another casa because they were overbooked. The other casa was fine, it was clean, around the corner from Casa Azul and the home owner was great. But I wanted to stay in the original house I booked. I probably won't be going back to the same one. The location was great, only a few blocks from old Havana.

Excellent accommodation and really helpful host. She organised taxis to take us on to Trinidad, gave us some names and addresses for accommodation and sorted transport to get us to the airport for an early flight out. Highly recommend staying here!

This casa is in a real Cuban neighbourhood in old Havana. It's about a 10 minute walk to plaza Vieja, and less to the Capitol building. Main drawbacks are the stairs although for me this was only a problem on arrival. Up and down the stairs with a daypack was no problem.

Very good place to stay, with very nice owners!!! If we would ever get back to Havana, we would absolutely stay there ayain.

The casa particular hostess, Grace, is very friendly and helpful - helping with directions, making phone calls, and arranging taxis. Breakfast is wonderful. Casa is spotless and cheery. Street is very quiet except for the local roosters which are drowned when the air conditioning is on.

Villa Azul was excellent, family was so kind & helpful.

We loved our accommodations! Grace was so helpful with recommendations. The neighborhood was fantastic authentic Old Havana. 7 or 8 blocks from the Old Plaza Square. Walking distance to various museums and galleries. Best breakfast of our holiday! Hope to go back sometime.

very nice helpful owner during our stay, recommend, arrange, follow up our beside Havana city trip, treat us like family members, highly recommended. be note there is long narrow stairs if you carrying large luggage, but except the 5 stars, all of the accommodation in Havana are the same with stairs.

Grazie was so helpful making plans and getting drivers to drive us around the city and to Vinales and to Trinidad. That was a big help. The room was comfortable and quiet. We felt very welcome.

I would highly recommend Villa Azul. The breakfasts were the best we had in Cuba and Grace was a great host and really helpful

Lovely place, Grace & her family were extremely helpful & welcoming. We felt totally safe & secure. My only reason for the "90" is that this Casa has several flights of steep steps that could be difficult for some to negotiate.

Very welcoming and helpful landlady Gracy who really everything to give uus the best experience! Thank You! On the downside was the long time it took before breakfast and dinner was served even though agreed upon mealtime.

We, 3 couples, had a very pleasant stay in villa Azul. The hosts were very kind. The rooms are spacious and there is a huge living/dining room. We've had deliceus breakfast every day with a lot of fruit. Location is in the old Habana, walking distance from all the main attractions.

Our room was quite spacious and clean, but very low ceiling; absolutely no wardrobe and rack for suitcases. Very steep stairways and we each morning we had to wait 30-60 minutes for our breakfast, although we had ordered breakfast the previous day. Well located in old Havanna.

Beds not so comfortable. Rooms are at second and third floor and you can reach only climbing stairs very steep and narrow. The ownwers are kind and the breakfast is decent (you can have with additional fee). Good position near Capitolio
