The environment and place is really good, people is really nice, great experience in Múnich. A little far from the center, but i like it!!!

Schusterhausl Inn is a great Hostel.

Everything is very uncomplicated and easygoing. I spend there 2 pretty fun evenings, cool atmosphere and very nice people. especially the staff :))

They only should mention that you cant walk from the station to the hostel..

but its located in a beautiful environment.

Nick should be running a 5 star hotel not a hostel. He went out of his way to accommodate our group and our needs! The location is beautiful and secluded but is a long walk from the nearest station (although Nick is wonderful and will pick you up). Really wonderful experience!

Bastante lejano de la cuidad y con muy pocas opciones para transportase del hostal a algún otro transporte que lleve a la ciudad. Mínimo 30 minutos caminando del hostal al S-Bahn y de ahí otros 30-40min al Centro. Me pareció bastante caro para tan poco, 8 personas en un cuartitito, apenas y cabían las maletas. Es una opción si lo que buscas es alejarte de la ciudad y pasar un tiempo de tranquilidad porque está en medio de la nada. Si buscas conocer Munich definitivamente no lo recomiendo. (Menos si pretenden conocer la vida nocturna de la cuidad. El último tren hacia la estación mas cercana sale un poco antes de medianoche.)

Ahh y no tomen el 'tour' al castillo Neuschwanstein, es un fraude! Mejor busque por otro lado, renten un auto o busquen la forma de llegar en transporte público porque te cobran para llegar tardisimo a verlo por fuera y sin tiempo para poder formarse y comprar una entrada.

The schusterhausl inn has big potential. It is located a bit out of munich but not too far - 20mins. However it has a unique atmosphere offering a proper bavarian experience in the forest of germany. The owner is very friendly. He gave us a free private room upgrade. Also beer and food is very cheap and there is an additional irish pub underground the inn. The staff are also very friendly and as such it is very easy to meet people there. The hostel price is also much cheaper than in munich

I think everything was really nice. You should see that hostel and great people. The place is ver quite and peaceful. Maybe the location a little bit far for you but it's really not a problem. You can use public transportion and after they have a shuttle to pick you up. The location is not problem at all. And also wifi is a litlle bit problem because the location so cloe to forest. But even that I definitly recommend.

Overall good. Staff are nice and are willing to help/attend to any questions. The hostel is located beyond central area and there is some distance from train station. But it's not a problem because there is a transportation van standby for picking you up from the train station at anytime. The area is quiet. Currently it's under renovation and I believe it will be even better upon completed. The price is reasonable generally except the inflation during Oktoberfest. So overall I will recommend this hostel.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is a bit outside of Munich, but the inn is an adorable cottage in the woods and the subway ride into town is super quick and easy. The staff was super cool and welcoming, and became our friends during our stay. It's very common for everyone (including the staff) to gather and eat dinner and drink beers and have a great time. I would definitely recommend the place for any young travelers looking for a fun experience.
