Melting Pot also known as Our Melting Pot (OMP) Hostel to all regular guests could be your little treasure in Manila, your quaint and charming abode away from home, providing topnotch accommodation options from private rooms to dormitory beds without hurting the wallet. The hostel is classy and well-kept and offers more than what you pay for.

Free breakfast generous enough to get you going til lunchtime. Free wi-fi. Free travel advice. Free strategic vantage point of the city’s lively skyline. Occasional free walking tours. Even free friendship.

Yes, OMP is a warm, familiar, comfortable place for the weary traveler with a modern vibe. It best located -- adjacent to SM Supermarket, a shopping mall, a pharmacy, 7-11 convenience stores, Filipino restaurants, ATM or cash machines, money changers, wellness spas and more. The hostel is along the main thoroughfare where public transport abound, particularly jeepneys and taxis. It is close enough to the airport, reachable in 30minutes or less during off-peak hours.

Talk about night life… it is just across the street, even to its left and right as well. No worries though, the hostel is well-designed and high enough in its new-found location to get your much deserved peace and quiet. It’s clean, clean, clean, complemented by sincere service and heartfelt concern from both the owners and the staff who are committed to do everything in order to make your stay worthwhile and memorable.

Finally, OMP strives to do its best in introducing you to many good things in the Philippines and in Filipinos not readily known to a first-time visitor in this country. Indeed the hostel may very well be your channel for pleasant little surprises as you experience a personal feel of hosteling in the old fashioned, endearing way of Filipinos.

Hostel Conditions:

The Mavenue Building, where the hostel is situated from its 4th floor and up including a rooftop, is a 4-floor commercial 10-year old building. The rooftop is exclusive for OMP guests who want to have a good time while having a drink or two and enjoying the view of the main street and the city skyline.

The availability of this area gives us an opportunity to provide weary backpackers with a bigger and more vibrant common area for relaxation and other wholesome activities.

Upper floors (4th floor and up) interior areas are newly renovated and lower floors has just begun in renovating.

We offer private rooms and dormitories with private and shared bathrooms. In the 4th floor alone, there are newly constructed 7 toilets and bathrooms (T&B) to choose from for guests who are staying in shared rooms or dormitories.

Please note, however, that our Private Triple Bed Ensuite is located in another building 5-min away (on foot) from the main reception. A hostel staff will be available for the transfer to this type of accommodation.

Bed sheets and blankets are provided for free including filtered/mineralized drinking water. Towels are for rent for a price of P30.00. However, guests booked in the private rooms are entitled to free towels and complimentary bottled water upon arrival.
