LOCATION INFORMATION:

Located in the Eixample Dret area and very close to Ciutat Vella (the Old Town), the Gran Central Inn is very centrally located. Plaça Catalunya, considered the city's most central point, is just a 7-minute walk, so that guests can pop in and out throughout the day.

The famous Ramblas, the trendy Born, the Arc de Triomf and the beautiful Ciutadella Park are just 10 minutes’ walk away. The beach is just a 20-minute walk or 2 stops on the Metro.

The Eixample Dret (the Right Side of the Eixample district) is considered one of the most elegant parts of town. Frequently described as an open-air museum, this area features some of the most spectacular modernist buildings of the city. Casa Batlló and La Pedrera, Gaudi’s masterpieces located on Passeig de Gracia, are just a few minutes’ walk from the apartment.

Within stumbling distance there are a myriad of restaurants, bars, cafés & clubs. Another key feature of the neighbourhood is that you will find numerous designer clothes outlets.

Also close by (2 minutes on foot): numerous supermarkets, convenience & food stores open till midnight, phone & Internet services.

The Gran Central Inn is conveniently close to 3 Metro stations: Girona (L4, yellow line), Tetuan (L2, purple line) and Urquinaona (L1, red line / L4, yellow line).
It is also very close on foot to Estació del Nord (the bus terminal for Girona Airport). There are numerous street buses on Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes. The Tourist Bus (Bus Turistic) and the Airport Bus (Aerobús) are very close by on Plaça Catalunya.
